OPI New York City Ballet Collection with swatches

I don't own any full size OPI nail polishes, except nail Envy and Avoplex Cuticle Oil, but I really like their minis and as soon as I seen this little set on Buyapowa I had to have it :)
The set includes 4 bottles, 3.75 ml each. All colours require 4-5 coats to become opaque. I am not patient enough to do this, so I only managed to do 3 coats and it was a challenge :) haha.
I love all the colours and I like to layer them over other nail polishes or over glitters.
Here is a great review of the full NYCB collection by Enamel Girl.

-Don't touch my tutu- milky white sheer
-Care To Danse?-light lilac sheer
-My Pointe Exactly- light grey sheer

Fish egg accent nail with gold and glitter + new rings

I haven't done the fish egg manicure for a while, so I thought I can at least do an accent nail ;)
I am wearing my new set of rings that I got yesterday. I love them!

Stila Shine Lip Color SPF 20 in shade 04 Sarah - Review with swatches

Hi everyone,

This lipstick was another bargain. I paid £7.99 for a set of 3 Stila products, so it was less than £3! The normal retail price is £12! It comes with SPF 20 to protect lips from UV rays. The texture is creamy, non sticky and applies beautifully. The formula is very moisturising and leaves my lips really soft. It is a pale peachy pink colour. It looks very pigmented in the tube but goes on very sheer. It is buildable, but I prefer to apply it lightly for a natural look. It does have a nice, delicate vanilla scent and you can also smell the SPF a little bit but it doesn't put me off. It stays on for about an hour, so you need to reapply it very often, but I really don't mind, as it looks beautiful!
The packaging...oh the beautiful, beautiful packaging... I really like the attention to detail, the gorgeous flowery design on a sleek metal tube. Perfection!

NOTD: Nude + glitter + sheer top coat

I love nude and peach shades of nail polish combined with gold. It feels very elegant and classy.
I used nails inc. peach sorbet as a base, added a coat of Saffron's chunky glitter and finally two coats of OPI Care To Danse?
PS. Excuse my dry cuticles and a messy pinky :/ I keep forgetting to use cuticle oil :O

Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday dupe- Technic Carnival

Hello ladies,
First of all, I don't know what I was thinking buying DL nail polish. I bought Mermaid's Dream (£18) first, followed by the "Get this party started collection" for £28 (for 3 bottles), so it was quite expensive. I will do a review with swatches of the full set soon and share my thoughts. It was an impulse buy and I don't think I will spend this amount of money on nail polish ever again.

After seeing many dupes for "Happy Birthday" I decided to finally buy one, so I can show you the difference. I got the one  from Technic in a shade called Carnival. I paid £2.07 for it including delivery (I got it from Amazon but it seems to be sold out now). I need to admit, they look very very similar. They are both multicoulour glitter nail polishes and that's enough for me to call them dupes ;) Happy Birthday has got more green and orange glitters and Carnival contains more blues and pinks. In the bottle they look different, but once applied they look very similar. Another thing I need to mention is the smell. Carnival smells really really strong and very unpleasant and gave me headache. DL Happy Birthday's smell isn't as strong and is manageable.

EDIT: I seen a few pictures of the Technic nail polish on other blogs and it looks a little bit different,  I think that it depends on the batch, as I don't think anybody would attempt to make a fake of a £1 nail polish.

L'Occitane Pivoine Delicate range: EDT, lipsctick, lipbalm and shimmering powder

I can't describe how much I love the Pivoine Delicate range from L'Occitane. The packaging is simply beautiful and I think I will keep it forever, as it is just too pretty! :) This post is picture heavy, because I took far too many photos of all the beautiful goodies I received.
There is plenty of products to choose from, so If you would like to treat yourself to something  lovely, here is a link to the full Pivoine Delicate range.
The Peony collection contains a Peony extract from the Drôme region in the south of France. According to Greek mythology, the Peony was once a beautiful nymph named Paeonia. She received so much attention from the gods that another jealous nymph turned her into a flower!

L'Occitane Pivoine Délicate Eau de Toilette 75ml* £35.00 link

INFO: The Peony is a symbol of beauty and femininity. Every spring, when it comes into bloom, it puts on a dazzling show of colours and scents. The Pivoine Délicate Eau de Toilette celebrates the most tender garden Peony, with its pastel shades and large, luscious petals. Its fragrance blends the delicateness of Peony petals with delicate and fresh green scents of Rose and Lily of the Valley. Made with a Peony extract from the Drôme region of France, this fragrance has a luminous floral accord with a soft powdery trail.

MY OPINION: Floral fragrances are on the top of my list. I used Flower By Kenzo for the past 5 years and I will always love it. I try to be more adventurous with perfumes, but I keep going back to the same one. I think I might have found a new love. L'Occitane Pivoine Delicate EDT smells absolutely beautiful, with Rose being the most noticeable from all the notes, followed by Peony and Lily of The Valley. It is a powdery feminine scent, perfect for summer and romantic dates.
The scent lasts for over five hours, before I need to spray some more on.

DIY Neon Earrings with Rhinestones and Dip Dye tassels

I promised to do DIY Mondays, so here is a simple 5 minute DIY makeover.
I transformed 2 pairs of boring earrings into perfect summer pieces.
You will need old earrings with rhinestones, nail polish and some kitchen roll (to protect the surface). Simply paint the earrings with nail polish of your choice (I needed 2 coats) and let it dry. Et voila! :) I am really happy with both pairs I made. They are perfect for summer.
