Black faux leather bangle with gold studs.

Hi everyone!

I fell in love with Hermes Collier de Chien range and I couldn't sleep at night until I got myself something similar. (Just kidding, haha)  I got a white bracelet with gold studs that looked similar to the Hermes one for Christmas and I adore it, so getting more colours was just a matter of time :)

Yesterday I received a black one  with more detail and I need to admit- its absolutely gorgeous!!!
It's edgy and it goes with everything in my wardrobe :)

DIY: How to make a studded faux leather collar

This is my first DIY post and I need to admit- with a 6 month old baby boy crawling on the floor trying to grab everything in his eyesight - it was very hard!!!
The technical side of the project did not turn out 100% the way I planned it :) I wasn't able to take pictures of everything...But I am happy with the final effect :)

You will need: faux leather, scissors, studs, satin ribbon &  hemming tape

1.cut a collar shape out of faux leather ( C shape)

2.attach studs (I used the ones that pierce through the fabric and close on the other side)
very easy to bend, you can use your hands to do it :)

 3.follow around the edge

4.Attach satin ribbon with iron on hemming tape (follow instructions on the packaging)
or stitch the ribbon onto the collars ends.
I used hemming tape.
Remember-leather sticks to the iron- so be careful not to touch the leather directly with the iron.
use cotton fabric to protect it.

Et Voila!

I am sorry that I didn't provide detailed pictures of attaching the ribbon and studs, but I am sure its easy enough to figure out how to do it. Use your imagination  with the studs, I used 3 different sizes in two colours to give it a unique and interesting look.

Here is the full collar. I love it!

Pearl peapod necklace, peter pan collar & studs

The pearl peapod necklace is one of my favourite pieces. It's so beautiful! It's studded with crystals and  inside you can see 4 white pearls. I am wearing it today with a yellow/mustard peter pan collar blouse, black studded bangles and gold rings.

Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle Nail Varnish

I am very excited to share this NOTD with you!
I am wearing my first Deborah Lippmann Nail Varnish and the shade is called Razzle Dazzle.
I received it yesterday in my Glossybox and applied two coats right away :) haha
After 2 showers, doing the dishes and housework, my manicure is still looking perfect!
I am not sure about the lasting power etc, but it looks fabulous!!!
I adore the tiny bottle and the colour is super pretty! I will probably buy more DL polishes in the future.

If you fancy trying this nail colour, you can buy it from House Of Fraser who stock Deborah Lippmann Nail Varnish.

Late December Glossybox review

I was planning to subscribe to one of UK beauty boxes a few months ago, but I couldn't decide which one I should choose. After weeks of holding off, I finally got a Glossybox subscription as a Christmas present from my husband  ♥ ♥ ♥

I thought I won't receive the Christmas Glossybox, but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door and saw my postman with a glossybox in his hands :) yay!

The packaging is absolutely beautiful and this month I received 2 full size products and 4 decent size samples. The mascara is fantastic and I was super excited to get my mitts on the Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle Nail Polish.

my passion: handmade jewellery

Just like I said in my first post, I love handmade jewellery and I spend quite a lot of time making it.
I have always loved spikes, studs and skulls and as you can see most of the pieces I am showing you today are studded or spiked.

Starting my blog on a rainy day

Hi everyone!

Let me introduce myself :) My name is Sandra and I decided that it's time to start a blog. I've been thinking about it for a while and considering the fact that I have a lot of spare time at the moment... it is probably a good idea to do something creative with it :)

I am not going to stick to one subject on my blog. I will add beauty reviews, nail art posts, share new purchases, healthy recipes, handmade jewellery tutorials and DIY ideas. I will probably add some baby related posts too sometimes, or some photos of my gorgeous baby boy .

I love the idea of blogging and I read blogs every day, so starting my own is definitely the right thing to do :)

As jewellery is my obbsession, I am sharing pictures of 2 rings that I made recently and 2 new purchases.
