Gift Guide: Electrical Beauty + Magnitone Giveaway

I love beauty gadgets. They make fabulous Christmas gifts and I couldn't wait to share my picks with you. From an ionic toothbrush to at home IPL Hair Removal, there is a gadget for everyone and... a cheeky giveaway of a pink Magnitone Lucid Brush :)

An electric toothbrush is a fantastic gift in my opinion, especially if you know someone who really wants one but never gets round to actually buying it :) The new Panasonic EW-DE92 Ionic Toothbrush* is currently on sale, reduced from £199.99 to only £99.99 (exclusive to Boots). The EW-DE92 features ionic technology  to take care of stains and plaque (the brush generates negative ions to help remove plaque firmly), a triple-edged brush and sonic vibration  with 31,000 brush strokes a minute. There are four brushing modes  to choose from including: whitening, soft, sensitive and gumcare. You also get two extra attachments (a point brush and a gum massager) and a tongue cleaner. To make sure you brush your teeth for the right amount of time, Panasonic EW-DE92 features a 30 second interval brush timer with a soft start function. Charging stand and carrying case are also included. I would happily buy this brush for anyone! It is fab!

This device is definitely the most intriguing beauty gadget I have ever tried. It's the YOSO Pro* (£149.99) - a 3 Step Deep Cleansing system, which uses Ion technology to ensure that your skin is cleaner and fresher than ever before. It looks like the beauty world is all about the ion technology right now :) How does it work?

It's very simple. To activate the Ion Technology, you have to touch your skin with the titanium head of your YOSO Pro, which completes the circuit. The device will start to gently vibrate and it is a very pleasant feeling. There are 3 different modes you can use (Cleanse, Moisturise and Boost) and 3 intensity levels. To cleanse, you use a cotton wool pad soaked in toner and attach it to the titanium plate with a special ring clip. Might sound like a hassle, but it's not. Your skin will feel amazing after, so it's all worth the extra step.

To moisturise you either apply your chosen product to your face or onto the titanium head and start the treatment. Same with the boost mode. The maximum time per each mode is 5 minutes, so you can use the device for 15 minutes in total, if you are doing all 3 steps.  The Boost mode works perfectly with sheet masks and I absolutely love the results. I have been using my YOSO Pro for only a week so far, but I am already impressed, as you notice the effects immediately. My skin feels very plump and looks more radiant.

PS. Beauty Crowd are currently offering a free YOSO Lash or YOSO Trim with each YOSO Pro order :)

If wrinkles are your concern, or you want to treat your mum/grandmum/friend to something special, the LightStim For Wrinkles* (£249.00) might be a good choice. It is pretty pricey but cheaper than the cost of multiple salon treatments. LightStim is an LED Light Therapy Device that helps you reduce and eliminate fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating  the production of collagen and elastin, while combining 4 therapeutic wavelengths of light that penetrate the top layer of your skin.

You simply cleanse your skin, apply the LightStim Collagen Peptide Serum (included in the pack), plug in your device and start the treatment by touching your skin and holding the LightStim in place for about 3 minutes. I personally use it on my forehead and smile lines to prevent the unavoidable wrinkles becoming deeper and it is a  very pleasant experience, as the light feels nice and warm on the skin.

A cheaper anti-wrinkle/firming device is the Rio 60 Second Face Lift* (£81.69). I received it over a year ago, but  I never got round to using it properly until recently. It is a dual action toner providing instant results. It tones and rejuvenates the face in just 60 seconds, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and increases skins elasticity. The two treatment modes include:

-faradic facial toning, which uses EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) technology to gently contract and relax facial muscles. It's a bit odd and takes a while to get used to, but it really works!
-iontophoresis infusion - this mode uses small micro currents to carry active ingredients from the collagen and retinol patches (you get them in the pack) to penetrate the skin and work their magic better.

If you can get used to the weird feeling of muscles contracting on their own, it's quite a good little device.

I mentioned Philips Lumea* (£297.49) in two blog posts as part of a campaign I am working on and I will be adding my 2 month update very soon, but I wanted to mention it in my gift guide as well. I am not going to say that it is a miracle product and it will leave you 100% hair free, but I am seriously impressed with it and I noticed a massive reduction in hair growth after just a couple of weeks. If you were thinking about buying it, give it a go. I love it!

And here is one for those who aren't really into skincare, but like to keep their feet and nails in tiptop condition - the Scholl Nail Beauty Set* (£39.99). I actually know people who couldn't care less about skincare but love having smooth feet and nice nails.  This set comes with plenty of attachments for nails, rough skin removers and even a nail dryer! You also can't go wrong with a good hair curler or a pair of straighteners. The Babyliss Pro Perfect Curl* (review HERE) and ghd's (review HERE) are the cream of the crop and I highly recommend them.

The last item and the one I am giving away to one of my lucky readers is the pink Magnitone Lucid* (£49.99) I get a lot of use out of mine and I can't imagine my skincare routine without it. I reach for it every second day to keep my skin looking fresh and plump. It is super easy to use, as it only has two settings and it is suitable for all skin types. With a brush like Magnitone Lucid you will  be able to achieve a fresher, brighter and more refined complexion and make your skincare products perform better. The quality of the brush is great considering the affordable price tag and I think that it would make a fabulous gift for anyone. Available from www.beautycrowd.com.
