After a stressful week and a couple of sleepless nights, thanks to panic attacks and sleep paralysis, I seriously needed a Saturday night pamper session. A good workout made me feel much better and released some endorphins, but I was dying for a long bath and a nice face mask. Here are the products I chose to help me de-stress and relax :)
Neom Real Luxury Diffuser* (£35.00)
I normally light a candle when I am preparing a bath, but Neom diffusers are just as good at making me feel relaxed. I simply turn the reeds around when I want the scent to be more powerful :) Real Luxury is one of my all time favourite scents and I own almost all products from the range. The mixture of Lavender, Jasmine & Brazilian Rosewood is very calming and soothing and I can't recommend it enough.
Molton Brown Muscle Soak (£19.00)
This product is my go to option after a workout. It smells lovely and refreshing and helps to soothe muscle pain and any discomfort you might have after an intense cardio or weight session. I looooove it!
To remove dirt, grime and tinted moisturiser, I used this natural cleansing oil. It smells beautiful and feels very luxurious. It can also be used to remove waterproof mascara and heavy makeup, but I prefer using it when I want to treat my skin to something lovely :) The formula is infused with Cypress, Bitter Orange, Tea Tree, Lavender, Lemon Castor Seed oils and you simply massage a small amount of the oil into the skin, add warm water to transform it into a milky consistency and rinse off. It's amazing!
Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask (sample, full size £57.00)
I really wish I could afford the full size, because this mask is incredible. It is different than my other deep cleansing mask and the consistency is much lighter. I apply a thin layer of it allover my face and neck and let it work it's magic for 20 minutes (when I am in the bath). Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask contains Hungary's famous healing waters, mineral infused muds and Pannon Complex (blend of proteins and vitamins) to purify and revitalise the skin.
Claudia Louch Chamomile Face Wash* (£37.40)
After removing the mask with warm water, I used the Claudia Louch Natural Skin Clinic Chamomile Face Wash to make sure that my face is 100% clean. If I don't use some sort of cleanser after a mask, I tend to get spots from leftover product clogging my pores. I reintroduced gel cleansers to my routine recently, but I still stay away from SLS based formulas. This product is free from nasty ingredients and it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry/stripped. It contains chamomile, red clover, elderflower extracts and white willow bark extract and it is non-comedogenic.
I follow with a toner, serum, eye cream and moisturiser.
Suti Fabulous Foot Balm (sample, full size £16.50)
I usually avoid the subject of feet, but... all of us have to deal with them, so here it goes. I always use a foot scrub in the shower (after my bath) and I usually use a body butter or a foot cream to moisturise. In Summer, my feet need more TLC and I prefer using thicker balms. They take a bit longer to sink into the skin, but they work wonders on any dryness. I got this tiny sample in My LMB Box and I finally got to use it last night. The balm left my feet feeling soft and hydrated and I might treat myself to the full size in the future.
The last product I want to mention is this fancy body serum. Oh my... it feels soooo luxurious! It is a collaboration between Aromatherapy Associates and fashion designer Roland Mouret and together they created a body serum 'that will leave you with a hydrating glow for the day or night ahead'. The formula is very light, but it provides instant hydration and a soothing sensation. I wouldn't apply it allover my body (it's too expensive!), but I love using it on my decolletage and arms. It adds a subtle glow to the skin and it smells gorgeous, with notes of jasmine, neroli, vetivert and geranium.
I really enjoyed my pamper night and it reminded me that I have to make 'me time' more often and simply relax and have a social media detox for a while :)
