Guest post: Need a Boost?

Sometimes mornings can just be unbearable, especially on a Monday morning after a lively weekend.
Equally, by the time the working week has ended, you can sometimes feel like crawling into bed and going into hibernation.

This tired feeling can have negative effects on us – lack of concentration, loss of appetite and loss of enthusiasm, which can be a real problem when you have a family to deal with.

This is something that a lot of us experience, so we seem to take it as a given and not bother trying to do anything about it. However, something can be done.

Have you ever considered aromatherapy? Aromatherapy is the practice of using scents and essential oils to create desired effect.
To rejuvenate and refresh, a soak in Baldwin’s Synergy Refreshing Bath Oil could be the perfect remedy. It is made using a blend of orange and geranium – both scents which are really bright and sunny – sunny scents are great as refreshers as they remind us of the sun and the summer.

If perhaps, you are not a fan of orange, then perhaps Baldwin’s Synergy Revitalising bath oil would suit you better – it has lavender (great for relaxation), peppermint and lemon, which are great at quickly waking you up and giving you a boost of energy.
If you like the sound of both of these, you could alternate the use of the bath lotions, or you could purchase the oils and combine them to make one, super-effective oil. This oil can either be used in the bath, mixed into lotions and even burnt in a diffuser or burner. The important thing is that you make the most out of your products – the more you use them, the more you will feel the effects.
To make the most of your aromatherapy products, especially if you have mixed oils, keep it well sealed – if you leave it exposed the aroma will be lost and will therefore render your product unusable. A wide variety of storage bottles can be found online, at very reasonable prices, so you should have no problem keeping your oils at their best for as long as possible.
