ESSIE NO PRE-NUP

I haven't done NOTD posts for over a week, because I wanted to keep my nails looking natural and give them a well deserved break. This week I want to show you swatches of some nail polishes I added to my collection. Although Essie No Pre-Nup  is a perfect pink shade for a french manicure, to get an opaque finish I needed 4 coats! This bottle came in a set and I knew that I won't be in love with the formula and coverage, but I bought it anyway... :)
It is a beautiful pale pink and the finish is very glossy, but I absolutely hate painting my nails with 4 coats! 2 coats for me is the maximum, anymore than that takes too long to dry and I don't want to spend an hour on painting my nails with one colour.

I really want to try more nail polishes from Essie, but I want the same colour outcome and formula as Mint Candy Apple. Any recommendations?

BRIGHT RED NOTD- ESSIE POUF DADDY (533)

I purchased 3 Essie nail polishes from TKmaxx a couple of weeks ago (for £9.99) and I fell in love with the bright red one called... Pouf Daddy :)

The formula is streak free, gives a super glossy finish and two coats create the perfect red I've been looking for.
I also love it on my toe nails :) It looks lovely on pale or tanned skin and it is a gorgeous feminine shade.

Are you a fan of red nails?

Essie Super Bossa Nova Swatch and great news :)

Here is the last swatch from my Essie purchases. This colour is called Super Bossa Nova :) I love the name! It is a bright fuchsia pink with a delicate purple/pink shimmer. The formula applies beautifully but unfortunately the drying takes ages. Don't worry, the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri will rescue you :)
I needed 2 thin  coats to get an opaque finish. I am an Essie convert and I want to spend all my money on their nail polishes! :) haha

NEW IN: Essie Minis in Braziliant, Super Bossa Nova and Smooth Sailing

I really wanted to try Essie nail polishes, but I am on a tight budget at the moment, so I checked ebay and found three lovely minis from this ebay seller. I will be adding posts with swatches very soon.
