Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier EDP

I must admit - the new Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier EDP* arrived in style. One of the nicest deliveries I have ever received, complete with yummy macaroons, a personalised champagne flute, a scented candle and a mini bottle of bubbly. So thoughtful!

No bragging intended. I just had to mention it, because all the little details made it very special and I don't really get many PR parcels these days :) The fragrance itself surprised me even more, because I simply can't get enough of it. It smells absolutely gorgeous!

I could try and describe it, but the official description sounds magical:

'Luscious, ripe and inviting, the Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier Eau de Parfum is a harmonious fragrance for women. Capturing the beauty of an early evening spent luxuriating in the Mediterranean garden of Esterel, this sultry and captivating fragrance caresses the skin with inimitable warmth and sweetness. Its fruity and milky accords are a pure distillation of nature, encapsulating the very soul of the Mediterranean'

I expected it to be super sweet, but it is more on the subtle side and it has many beautiful layers. The top notes include Mandarin, Pink Peppercorn & Candied Fig, followed by heart notes of Violet Wood and Fig Pulp and base notes of Musk, Patchouli and Moss. It smells very luxurious and lasts on my skin all day. I am in love! The bottle is beautiful too, with touches of gold and R & G logo on the cap.

The RRP of Fleur de Figuier EDP is £40.00, but you can currently buy it with 1/3 OFF from Escentual for only £27.00. It's such a beautiful scent.
