Weekend pamper #4

Remember when I mentioned that I might be going abroad at the end of the month? Well... it is not happening, but... the emergency option is there and we are travelling to Scarborough tomorrow :) Yay! The last time I went, it was really lovely, so I think we will enjoy it if the weather is nice. Fingers crossed for some sunshine,  I really need it! To prep for our my week away, I decided to have a little pamper evening with some treats for my face and body :)

I love using this oil instead of shower gel and... for shaving my legs  :) It lathers up nicely and doesn't dry my skin out. I never use traditional shaving foams, so this is perfect. It leaves my skin  super soft and nourished and it smells insanely good. PS. have you ever tried it in a bath? OMG! It's divine!

To enhance my natural tan, I used this self-tanning milk by Vichy. It is very lightweight and gives a natural looking, streak free tan. I used it allover my body and I will wash it off in the morning.

I also wanted to mention this lovely body shimmer by Nourish. I haven't used it tonight, but I will be applying it allover my arms, decolletage and legs in the morning, after a shower. It gives a subtle golden glow, perfect for daytime. It also helps to firm, tone, soften and smooth the skin, which is something I look for in a body product, especially in Summer.

I always use a face brush at the weekend (sometimes more often) and I am currently obsessed with Magnitonehe Lucid. It comes in more colours, but I picked pink and I loooove it! It is cheaper than the original Magnitone brush and has less features, but... it does the job and helps to keep my skin in good condition. It exfoliates, removes impurities, reduces the size of pores, brightens and makes my skin feel more plump and soft. It also makes all my skincare products perform much better and gives my skin a big boost of radiance! One full charge is enough for 2 weeks of use and the small size of the brush is very travel friendly! Lookfantastic have it on offer for £49.99 at the moment (HERE).

I have been very sceptical about these and I must admit - I am disappointed. They didn't work at all and really irritated my skin :( I only noticed a couple of blackheads on the strip after removing it and taking it off was VERY uncomfortable. They worked a little bit better on my husband and I will just let him use the rest of the pack.

I mentioned this product last year and I am happy to have it back in my life. I use it allover my jawline and neck, where I get hormonal breakouts and I can see a big difference after just one use. I use Skinbreeze Blemish Fix at night time to reduce the size of any active breakouts, get rid of redness and irritation and I wake up with clearer, calmer skin. Unlike my Holy Grail Super Spot Remover, this gel doesn't dry my skin out at all and creates a protective moisture barrier instead and hydrates with hyaluronic acid. It is amazing!

On the rest of my face, I used this light, but powerful serum by Yonka. I adore their products and I find them very effective. This anti-wrinkle resurfacing concentrate contains AHA-rich fruit extracts and it was designed for tired, dry, oily, or coarse skin and dull complexions. It gently eliminates dead skin cells that suffocate the epidermis, revealing radiant skin, with smoothed wrinkles and lines and refined texture. I absolutely love the way this products works with my skin and I noticed that it helps to speed up the process of healing breakouts and fading scars. A real treat for my face! Fantastic!

Oh, I adore the packaging of Claudia Louch products so much! It is just beautiful! This toner is a soothing  alcohol-free formula, with aloe vera, chamomile,  Japanese green tea and cucumber extract. My skin loves it and I have been using it a lot after my glycolic acid treatments to make sure I don't irritate my skin.

I am not sure about the price of this mask, but you can buy it from Skinbreeze salons. I also noticed it on ebay in packs of 5 for around £30.00. Hydro Mask is exactly what my skin needed after my last glycolic acid peel. I put it in the fridge for an hour to cool it down and it felt AMAZING on my face! It's a thick gel mask and you simply apply each section to the appropriate part of your face and leave it on for 10-20 minutes. I left it on for an hour after cleansing and using the Biore pore strips. The mask helped to soothe irritation around my nose, it plumped the skin allover my face and left it feeling incredibly hydrated. If you need an effective hydrating treatment for dry, dehydrated or sun damaged skin, this mask is for you.
