Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayons Review: Fuchsia Libre and Orange Punch

Another new release from Bourjois? Yes! This time, it is their Color Boost Lip Crayon. It comes in four gorgeous shades and I adore the formula. I was kindly sent Fuchsia Libre and Orange Punch to try out, but I will be buying two remaining colours as soon as I step into Boots or Superdrug.

The packaging of these looks the same as Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains and Clinique Chubby Sticks, which I really like.  The crayon shape makes the application hassle free and you can easily use it on the go.

The product glides onto the lips, like a luxurious lip balm, adding a beautiful, vibrant colour and a lot of shine. I am in love with the formula and the fact that it includes SPF15 makes the Color Boost Lip Crayons perfect for Summer. I have been reaching for them every single day since they landed on my doorstep.

Unlike Revlon's offering, they don't stains the lips, so you can easily switch between different colours during the day. Bourjois Lip Crayons are very moisturising and provide amazing, high-shine colour. They feel comfortable on the lips and look super glossy, without the need of applying lip gloss :) They don't last on my lips for 10 hours, but I don't mind reapplying after 3-4 hours.

Shade Orange Punch is a gorgeous, vibrant coral and shade Fuchsia Libre is a beautiful, bright pink. You can see the swatches (in daylight) on the photos below.

I can't think of anything bad to say about them and the price is fantastic, especially if you buy them from Boots during their 3 for 2 offer.

Just like I said before, I will be buying other shades: On The Beach (light peachy pink) and
Red Sunset (bright red).

  9. Lise Watier (A Canadian brand) made lip crayons that I was in love with forever, they just discontinued them within the last 3 months. So trying to find a replacement, I tried these... They are nice, but still not pigmented like L.W. But, they are a great alternative to a gloss or lipstick, just right in-between! :)

  14. These colors are lovely; I love how they're sheer but you can still see the difference between shades. I know with some balms they end up looking the same but these shades are distinctive which is great.

  15. They look so lovely! I do wish they had differentiated their packaging from Revlon's a bit (like not making the letters and twist tab silver) xx

  20. I love Orange Punch, I picked it up about 2 weeks ago I think - I love that it's not too orange, it doesn't come out that coral at all, but a really pretty coraly pink :)
