Macadamia Haircare Maintenance Set

I adore Macadamia's Deep Repair Masque, so I was very excited to try more products from their haircare range. I was kindly sent this beautiful Haircare Maintenance Set* in May, but when I was moving house, I placed it in one my storage boxes and totally forgot about it. I finally got a chance to try out all the products last week and I am in love!
First of all, the packaging of this set is lovely! The products are presented in a beautiful gift box, which can also be used as a bag or storage :) Clever! I am currently using it to store my hair accessories.

The set includes: 100ml Rejuvenating Shampoo, 100ml Deep Repair Masque,125ml Healing Oil and a Healing Oil Infused Comb. The last one sounds very intriguing :)

This sulfate and paraben free shampoo is designed to add moisture and protection and replenish dry, damaged hair. It  gently cleanses hair, without drying out the scalp. I have to be careful with shampoos, because my scalp can get itchy if I use a clarifying one. I prefer using more hydrating formulas.  I will definitely purchase the full-size bottle, because my hair feels amazing, every time I use it and I adore the scent.

This mask is my Holy Grail haircare product and I can't live without it! It is so luxurious! I reviewed it here in September, but I still love it! I will keep repurchasing it over an over again. It makes my hair feel incredibly soft and adds a gorgeous shine! The condition of my hair improved dramatically, since I started using this mask regularly.

Until the 30th of June, you can buy a 250ml tub for just £19.95 from Macadamia's website.

This oil treatment is perfect for damaged hair. It is very nourishing and makes my dry ends appear much healthier and hydrated. I would recommend using it to repair heat damage, if you curl or straighten you hair regularly. I massage a small amount of the oil into damp hair (focusing on the ends) and let it work it's magic :) The oil is absorbed into the hair quickly and pushes the water out, reducing the drying time by 40-50%. Perfect!

This little comb is made with specially formulated resin, infused with  the Healing Oil Treatment. It is meant to detangle hair and impart macadamia and argan oil as you comb. I am not sure if it works, but I like using it to comb through my hair when I apply a mask or conditioner. This way I can ensure that all my hair is covered with the treatment.

Overall, I think that the set is absolutely gorgeous and it would make perfect gift.
All the products are available from www.macadamiahair.co.uk and many online stockists.

  8. I really want to try the mask but I haven't been impressed with the oil - it's very thick and can weigh down my hair.

    1. I would definitely recommend the mask, if you find the oil to rich.
If you don't want to waste the oil, you can use it as an overnight treatment and wash it out with shampoo in the morning :)
It shouldn't weigh your hair down, but it will still help to nourish damaged hair.
