Spending Ban Haul (?) / Update

Hi everyone. It might sound silly, but I have a Spending Ban Haul post for you today :)
I thought that it will be a good idea to get everything I bought during the ban together and add it all up to see how much I actually spent. There is exactly 3 weeks left till the end of the ban and I am not planning to buy anything at all. I am too busy with packing everything and moving house, so I am not even thinking about spending money. So what did I buy during the ban?

Well... the biggest order I placed was with Fragrance Direct where I bought Dainty Doll products. I just couldn't miss out on this offer. Everything was reduced to £1.99!!! I got 6 blushers, 2 concealers, a lipstick and a mascara/eyeliner. (total: £22.00) I didn't need any of that, but I am really sad and I just bought loads of stuff for no reason! :)

I also bought 3 Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers a couple of weeks ago. They were on offer and I paid £12.00 for three of them. I really wanted to try them and I am really glad that I did :)
I bought 2 Lush bath bombs (£5), a Korean BB Cream (£5) and a Lioele lipstick (£5).
That's it from actual ban breakers.

What I had to buy without breaking the ban ( what I actually needed) was the Origins Super Spot Remover (£13), an acetone free nail polish remover by Nubar (£7.25) and a cuticle oil (£6.75).  I also got 3 Barry M nail polishes with my Boots points, but it doesn't count :)

Oh, another thing! I ordered 2 Etude House nail polishes on ebay over a month ago, but they haven;t arrived so the seller refunded my money. I will buy them after the ban, because they are really cute- shaped like ice cream cones!

Total for ban breakers: £49.00
Total with other purchases: £76.00

I am quite impressed to be honest. I spent under £50 on beauty products since January and before the ban, I used to spend more than that weekly.

Are you taking part in the 100 day spending ban? Let me know if you are finding it easy or hard?

  3. I gave up. I officially started my ban on January 1st but my last beauty purchase was Boxing Day. I lasted the whole of January and February but it went completely to pot this month :-P I'm still happy though that I managed about 60 days :)

Good luck with moving home and with the rest of your ban!

  5. This looks so much more than what it actually cost. When I looked on Fragrance direct and tried to buy something, it wouldn't work so I guess it was all sold out.
You actually did really well. I'm finding it sooo hard, haven't done well at all.

Good luck with moving house :) xxx

  9. Thats amazing, you have great willpower. I should really do this, if I thought about how much I spend on beauty products I'd probably have a heartattack.

  10. Well done! I think it may help you realise that sometimes it's good to look for a good deal on the product without being impulse-buyer. ;)

  15. I got the Apocalips stuff too and they are all so nice and don't dry the lips too much, well on me at least. Very cute stuff! Good job with the ban!! I'll start it in april maybe!
