LUXBOX review

I love beauty boxes, but after the "Glossybox fiasco" I unsubscribed from all of them. I have heard about Luxbox before, so I was happy to try it and share my opinion. The first box landed on my doorstep on Monday and I really like it. The packaging is lovely and there is a product variety. I remember getting two body lotions in one box before, well in my LuxBox all the products were totally different and one of them really surprised me :)

LUXBOX* £10 + £2.95 P&P link
Luxbox is a subscription beauty box delivered to your doorstep each month. If you are familiar with the idea of beauty boxes, you will know that every box contains 5 luxury sized samples for you to try our in the comfort of your own home. I really like the fact that there is a variety of products and brands within each box. I love trying skincare and makeup that I have never tried before, it is fun and the surprise element is always very pleasant :)

In my July box I received 2 full size products and 3 samples and the content is worth over £35!
The eyeshadow trio by Green People is worth £18.40 itself!

First Aid Beauty Daily Face Cream full size 60ml £15 (30ml sample worth £7.50)
"First Aid Beauty delivers SOS skincare for universal skin challenges, such as sensitive skin, dry skin and aging skin. FAB products are free of Parabens, Fragrance,Phthlates and other potentially irritating ingredients. FAB products are infused with our proprietary antioxidan blend of Licorice Root, White Tea and Feverfew. FAB products combine luxury with efficacy and are safe for even the most sensitive skin. When you think sensitive skin, think First Aid Beauty. A perfect daily moisturizer for those who prefer light-weight hydration, such as combination, oily or acne skin types. Provides a soft, matte finish thats perfect under makeup. Non-comedogenic, so it wont clog pores."

I tried a shower gel from FAB before and I really liked it, so I was happy to see this brand in the box. This moisturiser is very light weight and absorbs quickly, perfect if you have got oily/combination skin. At the moment this is exactly what I need , because my skin became more oily and I am getting more breakouts. I hope that this cream will keep my skin under control. I used it a couple of times and It really helps with my oily t-zone. The sample is a generous size and will last for over  a month.

Kelly Edwards Skincare Exfoliating Cream full size 50ml £12 (sample 15ml worth £3.60)
"Our cream textured facial scrub gently exfoliates without irritating the skin, leaving it feeling smooth, soft and refined. Gently buffs away dead skin cells and unblocks pores Softens the skin and retains natural oils Promotes a glowing complexion Suitable for all skin types. Suitable for Vegans."

I love trying new exfoliators. I've never heard about this brand before, but I was happy to try it.
This creamy exfoliator is very gentle and suitable for sensitive skin. It left my face looking fresh and radiant and feeling very soft. There was no irritation or scratching. This little sample will be enough for about 5 uses.

Green People, Eco Eye Trio Earth full size £18.40
"Certified organic mineral eyeshadow with nourishing jojoba, and sunflower. Three smouldering natural earth shades in glistening sand, old gold and chocolate for a natural day look or smoky evening look.Enhance eyes with intense luminous colours that delicately shimmer and shine Sweep softly over eyes for daytime, use all 3 colours for a dramatic evening catwalk look Natural minerals do not clog your pores, allowing skin to breathe naturally. This organic eyeshadow set is made without Parabens, Propylene Glycol, Petrochemicals, Phthalates and Synthetic Colourants to bring you the purest eye make up that nature can offer."

I was very happy to see this little trio from Green People in the box. I really like this brand and always wanted to try their makeup. As you can see the colour payoff isn't amazing, but all the shades are suitable for a daytime make-up look. If you like neutral, delicate earthy colours this set will be perfect for you. I would recommend using a primer and if you want the colours to be more intense- a wet  brush. I photographed swatches for you, so you can see the difference in intensity of the colours used on their own and with a wet brush. I will definitely use this trio for daytime looks and I am glad I received this product. It is full size and it is worth £18.40.

Murad Time Release Acne Cleanser full size 200ml £29.00 (30ml sample worth £4.35)
"Now you can fight two stubborn skin concerns at the same time with the first patented time-release Anti-Ageing Blemish regime clinically proven to reduce blemishes while diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. This high-performance solution includes an innovative anti-blemish treatment technology that continues to work even after you rinse it off. Breakouts and wrinkles wont stand a chance! Massage a small amount over dampened face and neck. Rinse with warm water and pat dry."

This cleanser came at a perfect time! I am suffering from breakouts at the moment and I needed a new cleanser for acne prone skin. I used it a couple of times and it definitely helps to reduce the redness and speeds up the healing process. I haven't noticed any new breakouts since I started using it, so I really hope it can make my skin looking good again. I don't know what's going on with my face at the moment- I think it's hormones and a change in my diet that are causing the breakouts.

Delicious Teeth Tooth Cleanser full size 100ml £3.99
"Developed by Dr Susan Tanner, Specialist Dentist, they contain Fluoride to strengthen tooth enamel and Xylitol known to help prevent cavities and reduce plaque formation. Sodium Bicarbonate helps restore natural whiteness and maintain a balanced pH to make absolutely sure that Dawood & Tanner Tooth Cleansers are kind and gentle to your teeth. What makes our toothpaste really stand out is the unique blend of natural essential oils that make our toothpaste delicious. Made in 4 mouth watering flavours! Garden Mint, English Peppermint, Brazilian Lime and Sicilian Lemon."

This product was a surprise. I didn't expect a toothpaste in a beauty box, but I am quite happy with it.
I will definitely make good use out of it. I got the English Peppermint variety and it is really nice. It tastes slightly sweet and leaves my teeth very clean. It is great at removing plaque and the aftertaste is very pleasant. I think I will buy more flavours in the future :) I am very intrigued by the Sicilian Lemon and can't wait to try it.
