Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Makeup Collection

As a die-hard Pulp Fiction fan and a massive Urban Decay enthusiast, I actually screamed from excitement when this collection landed on my desk. I haven't been that excited about makeup in a long time. Some might find this collab weird, but I am OBSESSED and I will treasure it forever! I watched the movie about a 100 times (or more), danced like Mrs. Mia Wallace with my girlfriends at every single party after requesting THE SONG, I even had a huge Pulp Fiction poster on my wall years ago and... I still listen to the soundtrack every time I am in the car.... Ooooops... Anyway, enough about my obsession... The Pulp Fiction Makeup Collection by Urban Decay is now available in US and will be launching in UK on the 1st of September to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the movie and it is obviously limited edition.

The outer packaging made my heart skip a beat, simply because it features the logo of the movie on each individual item and I am not planning to get rid of it, ever... #hoarderalert

The small limited edition collection consists of  five items:
Pulp Fiction Eye Shadow Palette
Pulp Fiction Revolution Lipstick - Mrs. Mia Wallace
Pulp Fiction  24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil - Mrs. Mia Wallace
Pulp Fiction Nail Colour - Mrs Mia Wallace
Pulp Fiction Heavy Metal Glitter Liner - Gunmetal

The Eye Shadow Palette*(£17.50) comes in simple black packaging with the yellow Pulp Fiction logo and the most famous quote from the movie. Die-hard Pulp Fiction fans will have it memorized, despite the length :) haha. Nice touch!

The other side of the palette says: 'Be Cool Honey Bunny', another cult quote.

There are 5 eye shadow colours inside: Righteous (light cream matte), Tyranny (warm brown matte), Vengeance (deep taupe-brown matte-satin), Furious (white satin) and Anger (black satin w/slight tonal sparkle). How cool are the names?

The palette comes with a blood-red double ended brush as well and as usual, the quality is just outstanding! The formula of the eye shadows is velvety soft, super pigmented, applies like a dream and lasts on my lids all day, without fading. That's why I love Urban Decay so much! Nobody does eye shadows like they do! They are simply THE BEST, with The Balm and Sigma being my second choice (they are fab too).

I used Righteous allover the lid, under the browbone and inner corner, Vengeance in the crease and along the bottom lashline, Anger along the top lashline and the glitter liner on top of it.
I just love the fact that UD named all the red shades Mrs. Mia Wallace.

The Pulp Fiction Revolution Lipstick*(£15.00) is to die for! It is a blood-red shade with the most gorgeous formula! It is the most pigmented lip colour I have ever tried and one thin layer gives 100% opaque coverage. It lasted on my lips for 5h+ without any smudging or fading and I even had lunch and tea during that  time! Amazing! I only used the liner to outline the lips so I am seriously impressed. It also feels very hydrating and comfortable, which is essential for me.

The Pulp Fiction Mrs. Mia Wallace 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencilr* (£13.00) is incredible too and you can either wear it with the lipstick or use it allover the lips on its own. It is the exact same colour - a stunning blood-red. I now need a dark nude 24/7 Lip Pencil, as I am in love with the formula.

The Pulp Fiction Nail Colour*(£10.00) matches the lipstick and lip liner and it is a dark blood-red shade too. It needs 2 coats to provide perfectly opaque, intense coverage and comes in signature UD packaging with a skull on the cap!

One coat of the nail colour.
I wasn't expecting to fall in love with this Heavy Metal Glitter Liner*(£14.00), but... I actually DID fall in love with it and I think it looks amazing used on top of a black shadow or black liner. It is super easy to apply and stays put all day, without any fallout or irritating my eyes. The glitter particles are black and silver and the amount of sparkle is just right.

Overall, I am absolutely obsessed with this collection and I can see it selling out really quickly. Every Pulp Fiction fan needs it in their stash in my opinion. The quality is incredible and the prices are actually pretty affordable.

If you are from the US, you can buy the products now from www.sephora.com and www.urbandecay.com

If you are based in UK, you have to wait till the 1st of September and the collection will be available from UD stockists: Debenhams, House Of Fraser, Selfridges, Feelunique, John Lewis and BeautyBay.

Are you excited about this collaboration?
