Barry M TMLP Lipstick review

I discovered this beautiful Barry M lipstick, by reading a post on Meg's blog. I have no idea why I didn't know about this lovely product before, but I finally got my mitts on it and I LOVE IT!

The Barry M TMLP  lipstick is the coolest lip product ever! First of all, it is green! I was really confused when I looked at the photos, but I soon realised that the lipstick changes colour to a pink shade in contact with skin.
It creates a unique colour, depending on the PH level of your lips. It feels like a super moisturising lip balm, but it's pigmentation is amazing! Once applied, it lasts on my lips for a couple of hours, but... it also stains them pink. The stain looks very natural though and last all day. I swatched the lipstick on my hand and the swatches were still visible after a shower!

The application was very easy for me, because as soon as the lipstick touched my lips, they turned pink. It can be different on everyone, so be careful not to apply a crazy amount right away :) You don't want to end up with a pink stain outside your natural lip line :)

If you are looking for a perfect, vibrant shade of pink, Barry M's Touch Of Magic could be the answer!
It looks beautiful and feels comfortable and nourishing.

Overall, I adore this bargain purchase and I would highly recommend it. After my massive disappointment with Barry M Lip Paints, this beaut made me fall in love with the brand again.

You can buy the TMLP Lip Paint in Boots, Superdug and online for £4.49.

BARGAIN!

  1. I have this lipstick for years now and I still love love love it! I love that it's super moisturizing and that it stains my lips, so I don't have to reapply it like one billion times during the day :)

  2. Interesting - my mum had something almost exactly like this when I was kid in the 1980s! It was from a cheap brand, something she got from the chemist. Its so old school! Its not something new...its just been revived by Barry M. The shade looks lovely on you!

  3. I have this lipstick tucked away in my drawer somewhere! I bought it a few years back and i have totally forgotten about it. This lipstick does have it's charms and novelty but i find that the colour is a little bit too vibrant for my liking and the colour becomes more and more bright as the day went on which i thought was a little bit too much for my liking. It looks amazing on you and i am glad that you have found a lip paint from BarryM that works for you and not too drying like some of the formulations~

    Thanks for the review <3
    Have a lovely day~

  5. I haven't tried anything like this before! I avoided the Barry M lip sticks because they sounded way too drying, this looks great though. I love stains so this is right up my street xx

  8. This looks absolutely amazing and is definitely something I need to invest in! I have to say I was surprised by the shocking green bullet and got a little concerned that I would see you with bright green lips! I can just imagine reapplying later on in the day; the looks you would get from people thinking it was bright green, haha!

Definitely is something that I am going to be purchasing, even if a bit of it is just to see the looks on people's faces!
