Gunjeoir Palmarosa Exfoliation Balm and Neroli Face Elixir

Hi everyone. Today I would like to introduce you to a lovely British brand called Gunjeoir.
I adore the unusual brand name and the story behind it. The name is pronounced gun-je-waa and it describes a sensation of pure bliss. Here is what the founder of the brand Sophia, says about the name:

"My brothers and I dreamt up the word ‘gunjeoir’ when we were children.  We used it to describe the delightful feeling of getting into a warm bath: ‘Ahh Gunjeoir!’  It was a word that stuck, and in our family we talk about having a ‘gunjeoir bath’.  When thinking about what to call my skincare brand, Gunjeoir seemed to be the obvious choice for a range that was meant to evoke an indescribable feeling of bliss."

I love the Art Deco inspired packaging and Gunjeoir's ethics. The luxury oils,  balms and soaps are made with natural ingredients and are suitable for sensitive  skin. I have been using the Palmarosa Exfoliation Balm and Neroli Face Elixir for the past 2 weeks and I am really impressed.

"Gunjeoir’s Palmarosa Exfoliating Balm is a unique facial exfoliator that also hydrates and revitalises the skin leaving it smooth, soft and clear. It should be used twice a week for best results. Suitable for all skin types."

In winter and cold weather, my skin gets dry and flaky, so exfoliating became an extremely important part of my skincare regime.
The Gunjeoir  Palmarosa Exfoliation Balm is a luxurious, thick balm with added Apricot and Bamboo Powders to remove dead skin cells, Avocado and Shea butters to hydrate and soften the skin and Virgin Coconut Oil to soothe and moisturise.

I use a pea sized amount of the balm and massage it into my face twice a week. The exfoliating grains feel a little bit rough, but they are very effective and don't irritate my skin.

The balm smells lovely, with notes of Palmarosa, Bergamot and Lime and feels very luxurious.
I reach for it when my skin looks dull and tired, to give it a healthy glow and bring it back to life.
A tiny amount of the balm buffs away dry skin cells, leaving my face soft, revitalised and nourished.

"Gunjeoir’s Neroli Face Elixir is our best selling product - a luxurious, anti-ageing face oil with a beautiful scent, that leaves the skin feeling silky-soft, balanced and hydrated. Frequent use leads to visible improvement in the tone and texture of the skin. Suitable for all skin types."
This face oil is the most luxurious one in my skincare collection. First of all, the packaging is really pretty and very unique. I keep it on my dressing table and use the oil at night, as part of my skincare ritual.

The blend includes Rosehip Oil to prevent ageing, Vitamin E to improve skin's texture, Avocado Oil to soften, Wheatgerm oil to protect against free-radicals and Argan oil to regenerate and firm the skin.

The scent of the oil is beautiful and very relaxing, with notes of Neroli, Rose Otto and Jasmine.
It sinks into my skin really quickly, without leaving an oily residue, making it feel super soft and hydrated. It can be used in the morning as well, but I prefer massaging it into my face and neck at night time.

I am very impressed with the quality of Gunjeoir products and I would recommend them to those who love luxurious balms and oils, beautiful packaging, carefully selected natural ingredients and the feeling of super soft skin.
