Step 2 and 3: LIZ EARLE Instant Boost Tonic and Skin Repair Moisturiser review

Hi everyone!

Today I would like to introduce you to steps 2 and 3 of my new skincare routine that I have been following for over two weeks and will probably stick to for a long time.

I wrote a review of the first step with Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish that I have been using for over a month (click here for a full review) and I can honestly say, it is absolutely amazing. The best cleanser I have ever used. It is gentle, yet very effective!

The next step after cleansing with the Hot Cloth Cleanser is toning your skin with the Instant Boost Skin Tonic. I decided to go with the spritzer format, as I like to use tonics during the day, to refresh my face. I use it at least twice a day. In the morning, after cleaning my face with micellar water, I give my face a spritz or two. In the evening after using the Hot Cloth Cleanser I use the tonic on a cotton wool pad. It leaves my skin perfectly clean and fresh and really gives it a boost of radiance. It smells really nice and refreshing, exactly what I expect from a natural product.

It is available in three sizes: 30ml,50ml and 200ml and you can pick from two formats: bottle or spritzer. I will be buying the smallest size for my Holiday- it is a 30 ml spritzer for £5.25, perfect travel/handbag size.

The one I received is a 200ml spritzer and costs £13.00. A little goes a long way, so it is definitely worth every penny. link

SKIN REPAIR MOISTURISER- NORMAL/COMBINATION*

The last step of my routine with Liz Earle products is the Skin Repair Moisturiser. My skin is normal/combination (I have an oily T-zone and my cheeks are quite dry), so that's the type of cream I got sent to review. I must say-it was love at first sight/feel. It smells gorgeous and the formula is very light.  It also absorbs quickly - a very important factor for me.
This moisturiser softens, smoothes and conditions skin for a naturally healthy glow
It is a jar full of natural goodness, packed with antioxidants, vitamins and a highly moisturising avocado oil. It really helps to balance combination skin. I noticed that the dryness on my cheeks is hardly noticeable and my T-zone seems to be less oily.

The only small complaint would be lack of SPF if you use it as a day cream. But on the other hand, it is meant to be used as a day and night cream so it doesn't need SPF. I always try to buy foundation with SPF, also if I know that I will be exposed to the sunlight for a longer period of time, I use sun protection.
I use this cream in the morning, after toning my face and neck with the Instant Boost Tonic and it works well as a base for foundation. If I am not wearing make up, I reach for it during the day as well.
At night time it really makes my skin feel nourished and soft and when I wake up I can't wait to repeat the whole routine allover again :)

The 50 ml jar cost £18.75 and just like the tonic and cleanser, it lasts for a long time. You need the tiniest amount to moisturise your full face. Travel size costs £7.25 for a 15 ml tube link

If you haven't tried Liz Earle Cleanse, Tone & Moisturise routine yet, I can honestly say: go for it! Many people swear by it and I became one of them :) If you don't want to buy full size products, there is plenty of smaller sizes to choose from at reasonable prices. My favourite must be the Hot Cloth Cleanser, I am still in love with it and can't stop raving about it, but I am loving the Tonic and moisturiser as well.
I included my Liz Earle products in the March favourites and I think they will stay on the list forever :)

NOTD- pink gradient with purple glitter

Hello my Lovelies!
I love multicolour manicures and I have been experimenting with different colured gradient mani last week. I picked pink and purple shades and added some glitter dust. I used Barry M, Models Own and Rimmel nail polishes, but you can use any colour or make to achieve a similar result. Use your imagination and let me know if  you decide to try this :)
My cuticles look terrible and I bought a treatment from Boots to deal with this problem. I hope it helps. I think my nails need a break from nail polish and some TLC :) I will do a few NOTD posts this week- caviar manicure, pink glitter dust manicure and gold and black zebra print manicure with Konad. After that... I will really give my nails a break. I am also planning to write a few reviews of skincare products that I have been testing.
PS.I am wearing my new gorgeous Forever21 ring.

Everything They Won't Tell You About The Wellness Lifestyle

Wellness is something that people constantly promote in our society. And, generally, we want to move in that direction. We live in a sick society and most people live their lives in a state of poor health, thanks to the many environmental and societal factors.

But the culture surrounding wellness also has a dark side. It’s not always what it seems. And its expectations can be at odds with reality.

5 Complications of a Poor Diet

When it comes to improving your health and wellness, your diet plays a big part in how good you feel and how well your body functions. A 2019 study by Kitchen Stories found that nearly 11% of respondents claimed they rarely eat healthy food. If your diet lacks essential nutrients, chances are you will be feeling a whole host of side effects.

If this sounds familiar, you could leave yourself open to a wide range of health complications. This post looks at the effects of a poor diet in a bit more detail.

Deborah Lippmann Mermaid's Dream NOTD + HAPPY EASTER

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! I hope you are having a lovely weekend.
Today I would like to share some pictures of the most beautiful nail polish I have ever bought.
It is Deborah Lippmann's Mermaid's Dream. It is absolutely gorgeous and worth every penny. It retails for a whopping £16, but I love it and I can't wait to buy more colours, especially the glitter ones. I only used 2 coats and the colour looks amazing. You probably seen it in my post about mint accessories, but I thought it deserves a close up ;) Is it blue? green? turquoise?
