Logitech Ultrathin Magnetic Keyboard for iPad Mini

I don't get to review gadgets a lot, but I am all for it when I do have the opportunity to try something new. As a blogger and a photography enthusiast, I cannot live without my laptop, iPad, SLR, an array of memory cards and other bits and bobs. I was like that even before In started blogging. The item I am reviewing today is a Logitech Ultrathin Magnetic Clip-On Keyboard* for iPad Mini and iPad Mini with Retina Display and it is a nifty little gadget.

Pregnancy Update: 19-23 weeks

I am 23 weeks pregnant today and my bump is huge :) Which is great, as there is no confusion anymore. Still fat, but definitely visibly pregnant. I love having a round, firm bump and I love the way it looks in tight tops. We just came back from Poland and I am exhausted. Flying with a toddler while pregnant is hard work. He was well behaved on the plane, but the waiting and queues were a bit stressful. We met our beautiful niece and Zachary fell in love with her. He kept touching her little hands and kissing her face. Soooo cute!

Pregnancy Update: 17-19 weeks

I will probably start every update with the words 'I can't believe I am ... weeks', haha. Honestly... It feels like I just had my dating scan, but I am 19 weeks pregnant today! Whaaaat? My bump is growing and I can feel the baby move properly at least once/twice a day. It's just amazing and just as magical as the first time, although I have less time to think about it. Also... I am absolutely terrified of labour, because I now know what to expect. I don't think it can be worse than the last time though....

I am pregnant with baby No.2 :)

I couldn't be happier to finally share the news with you! I am 11 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 and keeping the secret since finding out right before Christmas was torture :) haha.

Savings advice I would give to my younger self.

Do you ever feel like you don't know what's happening to all your money, despite living quite a modest life? We have all been there, right? I know I have. It was understandable when I was a student, but with two adults working full time it was time to save for our future together.

Blogging On The Go / Acer Aspire Switch 10

The main laptop I use for blogging is absolutely huge and super heavy. I love using it at home, but whenever I am travelling, I need something more compact. My new Acer Aspire Switch 10* is exactly what I was looking for and it is definitely the most versatile tablet I have ever used.

Ted Baker Pretties from Flamingo Gifts

Ted Baker is one of my favourite brands when it comes to pretty accessories. The prints are stunning and the quality is amazing for the price. When Flamingo Gifts contacted me asking, if I would like to feature anything from their website, I couldn't resist some of the Ted Baker pretties available in their online store..

The Greedy Book

If you always worry about the awkward gift situation, when you have to pretend that you like something, but inside you are thinking 'what is this???', I have a solution for you :) Not everyone has a blog where they can share a wish list and most of us find it a bit cheeky to ask for certain gifts, but... you can always drop a hint on social media and hope for the best :)

Fitbug Orb Review

I like tracking my daily activities and workouts through various devices. I have a Fitbit Flex and a Polar FT4 watch and I reviewed both of  them on the blog in the past.  I am always on the lookout for new fitness gadgets though and the  Fitbug Orb* really caught my eye. It is everywhere at the moment and everyone seems to love it, but is it worth the hype?

Non-Beauty Favourites/ What I've Been Up To

I feature my beauty favourites on the blog almost every month, but to be perfectly honest, I have even more 'non-beauty' favourites, especially food related ones :) haha. I also very rarely include  lifestyle updates, so today's blog post is a mixture of both, plus a virgin mojito recipe I promised to share :)

Citizen M Hotel Glasgow (review +vlog)

Last month, I celebrated my 27th birthday and it was my first night (2 nights actually) without my son! He is 3 years old and I have watched him every single day and night for the full 3 years of his life and I am really proud of myself! Anyway... After many months (ok...years) of trying to 'cut the cord', I finally left Zachary with his grandparents overnight and spent 2 nights with my husband in Citizen M Hotel Glasgow.

Stress-free Blogging :)

Let's be honest... some of us freak out about our blogging schedules too much. I definitely find myself worrying about not having a blog post ready for the next day, or not having time to write one at all. I try to be relaxed about it, but the voice in my head keeps reminding me, that I HAVE TO publish a blog post. My 'To Do List' gets longer and longer each week, but you know what? I don't even care anymore and I seriously need a break. This doesn't mean that I will be absent, not at all! I am just starting to enjoy blogging again, after going through some really bad times. At some point last year I was blogging every single day, multiple times a day, but I found myself stressing out too much, so I decided to just relax for a while, as something I absolutely loved turned into a chore and I wasn't happy. I still enjoyed preparing most of the content, but all the admin work was killing me! If blogging isn't you job, don't take it too seriously, relax and keep some of the following tips in mind:

Cute tea strainer with a doughnut trinket :)

I very rarely blog about my 'non beauty finds', but I really love this little tea strainer and I wanted to share some of the pictures I took today :) I have been looking for a nice infuser on ebay and I stumbled across a range of Kilo ones, with cute trinkets attached to the chain. I went for a doughnut with pink icing and white sprinkles and I absolutely love it!

iPad Mini and my favourite photo apps

As much as I love my iPad 4, I was super excited to finally get an iPad Mini. I think, that the big one is slightly too heavy and I don't really like using it in bed or on the go. It is simply too bulky. The mini one is much lighter and I am totally in love with it. The only bad thing about it is the lack of Retina Display, but it isn't a big issue. The display quality is amazing and the colours are very vibrant. I was  slightly worried that the screen will be too small for reading, but... the 7.9 inch display is perfect. I can read books without 'squinting my eyes' and the keyboard is big enough for my clumsy fingers :) I have been using my new iPad from Argos non stop, so I thought it would be a good idea to share some of my favourite photo apps with you.

5 Health Problems New Mothers Need To Look Out For

Many new mums are so focused on looking after their baby that they forget to look after themselves. Childbirth and looking after a newborn can take a toll on the body and mind, and it’s important to look out for warning signs of health problems so that you can treat them before they get too bad. Below are just some of the health problems to be wary of as a new mum.

Spring

I was pleasantly surprised when I first seen our back garden. It is full of beautiful flowers and other mysterious plants :) haha.  I am planning to sort out a vegetable patch as well. I will let you know how it turns out. I am really looking forward to it.

I just noticed that I published two similar posts in the past: Autumn and Winter :)
I will definitely add a Summer one in June/July. It gives me an excuse to take more photos :)

Things I like to do: Camping

Hi everyone. I am sure that most of you love travelling, holidays abroad and short country breaks. I love it!!! If I had a chance to go somewhere every weekend, I would. Unfortunately, the weather in UK is terrible, so we only plan weekend breaks in Spring/Summer. One thing I never expected to enjoy as much as I do is camping. I never went camping, until I met my husband, but I really love the freedom you have when you go camping. Obviously, my favourite way to do it is in a campervan :) haha. It is the best way to travel and see the world in my opinion. You can drive anywhere you want and see amazing places. We went to France in a campervan in 2010 and it was awesome!!! I would love to do it again soon.

My first "camping experience" was at the age of 16, when me and my friends decided to go to a 3 day long Przystanek Woodstock festival (I lived Poland at the time) and we took tents etc with us to be able to stay there. It is one of the best high school memories I have, but I went there without my parents permission so it was kind of naughty! I wouldn't recommend that, it isn't the best idea to leave your parents worrying about you. They knew exactly where I went though, because I kept asking if I could go to the festival... and they kept saying no. I am not surprised  to be honest :)

I remember the tent we had with us... Oh dear... It was old and it took us ages to put up. If I had a chance to plan it again, I would get a pop up tent. They are fantastic! Me and my husband bought a massive pop up tent a couple of years ago and when you open the bag, the tent literally pops out of it and you are done in a second! Obviously, you have to secure it  in place once it is up, but it takes a couple of minutes and it is super easy. We paid over £150 for ours, but I found this Pop Up Tent from Millets  for £50.00 and I think that it would be perfect for festivals! It is lightweight and sturdy and has a waterproof and breathable design. Also, how beautiful is the record print allover the tent? Perfect!

Let me know if you have any recommendations for short breaks in UK. I would love to go to Ireland and Wales as well, so if you know great places to visit, let me know in the comments.

We are planning a weekend away soon and we will be heading to the North of Scotland and I cannot wait!
I am so excited! I will definitely add a post about it, so keep your eyes peeled :)

Sneak peek of my dressing room / Jewellery Storage Ideas and some news

Hi everyone! I was planning to add this post in the morning, but my internet connection wasn't working :/
We are having some issues with the modem again. Anyway...
I hope you are having a lovely weekend. I just came back from a  long walk with my baby boy and my sister. The weather is beautiful and I am really enjoying the sunshine and fresh air.

Photo diary: Valentine's Day Pretties :)

Hi everyone!  It is never to late to share some pretty pictures. I took all of them on Valentine's Day.
You might have seen some snaps of all the gorgeous presents I received on Instagram and Vine.
It was a lovely day. I got beautiful flowers, chocolates and loads of makeup I have been dreaming about, including a Chanel blusher, Etude House blusher and lipstick and a YSL lipstick.
