MOISTURISING WITH APICARE NEW ZEALAND

Hi everyone.
I received a few products from Apicare New Zealand over a week ago and I have been moisturising my face, hands and body with them, every chance I got :) They all smell amazing and I can recommend them to anybody who loves the feeling of silky smooth, soft and  nourished skin.
If you are not familiar with the brand, have a look at their website with many Natural Manuka Honey Skincare products. Here is a link www.simplymanuka.co.uk

RESTORE ME HONEY NUT BODY BUTTER*
I need to admit, I always loved body butters, I think they are so much better than ordinary body lotions. This one feels very creamy and luxurious, it sinks into my skin really fast, it is non greasy and I love using it. It is made with Manuka Honey, Aloe Vera and natural oils of Macademia, Sweet Almond and Jojoba. I am so glad that I received this product. It leaves my skin soft and nourished and it helped with the dryness on my knees and elbows. The 250g tub costs £14.81 and you can get it here.

REPAIR ME INTENSIVE TREATMENT HANDCREME*
Another product I have been testing is the Repair Me hand cream. I honestly can't imagine my life without hand creams. I do a lot of house work and my hands need extra care. As soon as I received this cream I placed it next to the hand wash to make sure I use it at all times. It smells amazing! I have never smelt anything like this before. It is highly concentrated so you only need a tiny pea size amount to moisturise your hands. The first time I used it I squeezed out quite a lot and I ended up moisturising my full body, as I didn't want to waste it. It contains soothing Calendula oil, Aloe Vera and UMF 16+ Active Manuka honey.
When I see Calendula Oil on the list of ingredients I am a very happy girl. WHY? Calendula ointment was the only thing that cured my... massacred nipples (sorry for the details) when I was breastfeeding. Nothing else helped me and believe me, there was blood and tears... So when I see products with calendula oil I know they will most likely be great.
This hand cream is really worth investing in, as a little goes a long way and it makes my hands silky smooth. It also improved the condition of my cuticles. It costs £14.29 for 130g and you can get it here.

MANUKA NATURAL VITAMIN E DAY CREME*
This face cream is an anti-aging formula for normal and combination skin. I am 24 and I noticed first wrinkles on my forehead... I was a little bit shocked with the deepness of them, so I started using anti-aging creams. Don't laugh at me. I am terrified of aging and in my opinion it is never to early to start preventing wrinkles. This day cream is made with Vitamin E to protect from oxidative damage and also contains an anti-aging formula with hyaluronic acid to attract and hold moisture to the skin.
The texture of this cream is very light, what makes the cream easily absorbed. If I don't have makeup on, I like to use it during the day. I am getting slightly obsessed with moisturising...
Can you overdo it?
90g costs £25.54 and you can get it  here.

NEW FOUND LOVE- MULTICOLOUR FISH EGG MANICURE

I couldn't wait to share this amazing manicure with you. I bought micro beads from ebay about a month ago for 99p but I couldn't find time to finally use them. There is a caviar manicure craze going on at the moment and all the Ciate mani sets are sold out, so here is a cheap option that looks just as good. I went for metallic multicolour fish egg manicure and I can't stop looking at it.
All you need to do is paint your nail with nail polish of your choice(preferably 2-3 coats) and when the last coat is still wet dip it in the micro beads (they will stick to your nails). Press them on gently and let the excess fall off. Repeat on all nails. The effect is amazing in my opinion!
Here is a link to the micro beads I bought click. They came in separate colours, but I decided to mix them together. There is enough for about 1-2 manicures.

EDIT: I had to change the name of the manicure to fish egg, as Ciate "owns the trade marks caviar manicure and caviar nails and they are in the process of applying to register these mark around the world". To read more about it read this post from Lucy's Stash.

WARNING! GLITTER ADDICTION!

I became obsessed with glitter on  my nails, so here is a late night manicure for all the night owls :) and for my readers from other time zones than UK :)

I also wanted to add a little bit of glitter removal advise: use a cotton wool pad soaked in nail polish remover and keep it on your nail for at least 30 seconds before you start rubbing the nail polish off.
It will minimise damage to your nails. Glitter is a BAD! ;) But I can't resist it!

Step 2 and 3: LIZ EARLE Instant Boost Tonic and Skin Repair Moisturiser review

Hi everyone!

Today I would like to introduce you to steps 2 and 3 of my new skincare routine that I have been following for over two weeks and will probably stick to for a long time.

I wrote a review of the first step with Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish that I have been using for over a month (click here for a full review) and I can honestly say, it is absolutely amazing. The best cleanser I have ever used. It is gentle, yet very effective!

The next step after cleansing with the Hot Cloth Cleanser is toning your skin with the Instant Boost Skin Tonic. I decided to go with the spritzer format, as I like to use tonics during the day, to refresh my face. I use it at least twice a day. In the morning, after cleaning my face with micellar water, I give my face a spritz or two. In the evening after using the Hot Cloth Cleanser I use the tonic on a cotton wool pad. It leaves my skin perfectly clean and fresh and really gives it a boost of radiance. It smells really nice and refreshing, exactly what I expect from a natural product.

It is available in three sizes: 30ml,50ml and 200ml and you can pick from two formats: bottle or spritzer. I will be buying the smallest size for my Holiday- it is a 30 ml spritzer for £5.25, perfect travel/handbag size.

The one I received is a 200ml spritzer and costs £13.00. A little goes a long way, so it is definitely worth every penny. link

SKIN REPAIR MOISTURISER- NORMAL/COMBINATION*

The last step of my routine with Liz Earle products is the Skin Repair Moisturiser. My skin is normal/combination (I have an oily T-zone and my cheeks are quite dry), so that's the type of cream I got sent to review. I must say-it was love at first sight/feel. It smells gorgeous and the formula is very light.  It also absorbs quickly - a very important factor for me.
This moisturiser softens, smoothes and conditions skin for a naturally healthy glow
It is a jar full of natural goodness, packed with antioxidants, vitamins and a highly moisturising avocado oil. It really helps to balance combination skin. I noticed that the dryness on my cheeks is hardly noticeable and my T-zone seems to be less oily.

The only small complaint would be lack of SPF if you use it as a day cream. But on the other hand, it is meant to be used as a day and night cream so it doesn't need SPF. I always try to buy foundation with SPF, also if I know that I will be exposed to the sunlight for a longer period of time, I use sun protection.
I use this cream in the morning, after toning my face and neck with the Instant Boost Tonic and it works well as a base for foundation. If I am not wearing make up, I reach for it during the day as well.
At night time it really makes my skin feel nourished and soft and when I wake up I can't wait to repeat the whole routine allover again :)

The 50 ml jar cost £18.75 and just like the tonic and cleanser, it lasts for a long time. You need the tiniest amount to moisturise your full face. Travel size costs £7.25 for a 15 ml tube link

If you haven't tried Liz Earle Cleanse, Tone & Moisturise routine yet, I can honestly say: go for it! Many people swear by it and I became one of them :) If you don't want to buy full size products, there is plenty of smaller sizes to choose from at reasonable prices. My favourite must be the Hot Cloth Cleanser, I am still in love with it and can't stop raving about it, but I am loving the Tonic and moisturiser as well.
I included my Liz Earle products in the March favourites and I think they will stay on the list forever :)

NOTD- pink gradient with purple glitter

Hello my Lovelies!
I love multicolour manicures and I have been experimenting with different colured gradient mani last week. I picked pink and purple shades and added some glitter dust. I used Barry M, Models Own and Rimmel nail polishes, but you can use any colour or make to achieve a similar result. Use your imagination and let me know if  you decide to try this :)
My cuticles look terrible and I bought a treatment from Boots to deal with this problem. I hope it helps. I think my nails need a break from nail polish and some TLC :) I will do a few NOTD posts this week- caviar manicure, pink glitter dust manicure and gold and black zebra print manicure with Konad. After that... I will really give my nails a break. I am also planning to write a few reviews of skincare products that I have been testing.
PS.I am wearing my new gorgeous Forever21 ring.

Everything They Won't Tell You About The Wellness Lifestyle

Wellness is something that people constantly promote in our society. And, generally, we want to move in that direction. We live in a sick society and most people live their lives in a state of poor health, thanks to the many environmental and societal factors.

But the culture surrounding wellness also has a dark side. It’s not always what it seems. And its expectations can be at odds with reality.

5 Complications of a Poor Diet

When it comes to improving your health and wellness, your diet plays a big part in how good you feel and how well your body functions. A 2019 study by Kitchen Stories found that nearly 11% of respondents claimed they rarely eat healthy food. If your diet lacks essential nutrients, chances are you will be feeling a whole host of side effects.

If this sounds familiar, you could leave yourself open to a wide range of health complications. This post looks at the effects of a poor diet in a bit more detail.
