NEW! Colourful ballerina pumps from H&M

I am not a big fan of heels and I try to avoid them ( I am 5ft 7 and my husband is only 2 inches taller than me), so when I was looking for some new flats for spring/summer 2012, I found these beautiful colourful comfortable and affordable ballerina pumps for just £7.99 a pair. They look amazing with dresses, jeans and leggings and I absolutely love them!

mix and match :) just kidding :)

SAMPLING DR. HAUSCHKA

I received a few samples to try out from Dr. Hauschka a couple of weeks ago and after giving them a go, I might treat myself to some full size products. I am sure, you've all heard about this natural skin care brand and probably tried some of their products. If not, make sure to visit their website www.drhauschka.co.uk

1.Rose Day Cream*- This award winning cream smells absolutely beautiful and it's made with the extract of over 1,075 organic Rose petals in each tube! It is a perfect moisturiser for winter, as it nourishes, soothes redness and protects your skin from harsh weather. It also encourages the skin to repair and restore itself.
The full size product costs £23.95 for 30 ml or £3.50 for trial size.

2.Rosemary Leg and Arm Toner*- I have always suffered from leg cramps, so I was very happy to receive this sample. It's meant to promote lymphatic circulation in legs and feet, relief swollen ankles and tone the skin.  I really enjoyed using it. I massaged it into my legs and it felt great on my skin, it is cooling and very refreshing. I would recommend this to anybody who spends a lot of time standing, or to improve circulation on a long plane journey.  The full size product costs £24.95 for 100ml or £3.50 for trial size.

3.Spruce bath*- This bath oil contains the essential oil of Norway Spruce needles which encourages you to breathe more deeply and slowly. It is perfect for people with sinus problems (like me), as it helps to clear congestion. It smells exactly like a pine forest! All you need to do is close the bathroom door and relax in a warm bath.  You can also use a few drops for a face wash, a warm compress or rub it all over your body with a flannel after a shower. The aroma is amazing!  The full size product  costs £17.95 for 150 ml.

4.Quince Body Moisturiser*- It is a very light formula that absorbs quickly and leaves your skin smelling really fresh an feeling smooth and nourished. As I don't have much time to myself, I look for products that are absorbed quickly, but give your skin a real boost. It retails at £22.95 for 145 ml.

5.Soothing Mask*- It's an intensive face mask, made for all skin types and praised by people with sensitive skin. You only need to use it 1-2 times a week to give your skin a boost of radiance, sooth redness and irritation. My skin became very irritated lately and I had two giant red patches on my cheeks for the past two weeks, but after using this face mask twice... the red patches disappeared! I am very pleased with this face product and I think it is worth the high price tag - £32.95 for 30 ml.

PASTELS- MY FINDS IN MINT + WISHLIST

Hi everyone.
I always loved pastel colours, so I was happy to see that they are one of the trends for S/S 2012.
I keep browsing through hundreds of on-line shops, looking at their new collections, but... I am on a spending ban at the moment :(
I managed to put together some pieces in a lovely pastel green/mint colour that I found in my collection without breaking the bank :)

The jersey scarf is definitely my favourite. I got it as a present from my best friend :) I love it.

AND HERE IS MY WISHLIST IN MINT:
MY WISHLIST IN MINT

NOTD- mint green -perfect spring nails

Inspired by pastel colours, spring and flowers, I came up with this cute design.
Mint green and a very dark matte green colour looked like a perfect combination to me.

NOTD- MUA love hearts in U&I and heart design with Konad plate

The weather today was beautiful. The sun was shining and I decided to paint my nails with a lovely spring colour. I chose U&I from MUA love hearts collection. It's a pastel candy yellow colour and it looks absolutely beautiful, but today plain colour didn't tickle my fancy, so I added a heart design with my Konad stamping kit. I used the M73 plate. I don't own any Konad nail polishes that are meant to be used for stamping. I used Barry M nail polish in Fuschia and finished it off with Sally Hansen Insta-dri top coat.

I hope you are having a fabulous day xxx

NOTD + review of Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps Nail polish + glitter + handmade ring

About a week ago I was looking for Sally Hansen's Insta-dri and I found it on halfpriceperfumes.co.uk as a freebie if you buy the Hard as Wraps nail polish :) The total was  £5.98 so basically a bargain as in Boots the insta-dri itself costs £5.99. Click here for the bargain! :)

The Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps nail polish is a formula with acrylic gel and nylon and it's meant to last longer than a normal nail polish and give you a salon effect.
The packaging claims that this is the perfect nail polish solution for women who want hard, strong, beautiful nails but do not have time for salon visits and expensive nail wraps.Professional brush provides ultra-smooth, flawless application.Brush on strength and beauty in just one easy step.
My opinion: It started to chip the next day and that's with use of insta-dri top coat that is meant to be an anti-chip solution, but the finish is very nice and really gives you the salon effect.
The colour I bought is called Stony Creme and it's a really nice brown/beige colour with a creme finish, but used with a shiny top coat it looks very glossy and luxurious.
I like the colour and I would repurchase it because of that, but for anybody who wants a long lasting nail polish- I personally think it just doesn't do what it's meant to do. I don't wear the same manicure for longer that 2 days anyway so it didn't bother me when it started to chip, but I was a little bit disappointed.
As you already know, I love glitter on my nails, so when the Hard as Wraps nail polish started to chip, I applied another coat and I couldn't resist putting lots of glitter on ;)

I will be using insta-dri as a top coat with all my manicures and I will let you know how it goes.

The pictures are in reversed order, starting with the highest amount of glitter to the plain colour at the end :)

A croc effect pyramid stud ring that I made recently.

REVIEW: REVITAL ENERGY SALT SCRUB-LEMONGRASS & LIME

About two weeks ago I received a lovely package from Elementary Skincare including Revital Energy Lemongrass & Lime Salt Scrub*. Elementary Skincare is a sister brand of Westlab and you can experience their treatments at Holistic Health in Birmingham or buy their products online on Elementary Skincare website.

As soon as I opened the package I knew that it's going to be something special, as I was blown away with a citrusy breeze. The aroma is absolutely devine- lemongrass, lime, patchouli... I can't get enough of it!

The scrub is made with Himalayan salt crystals and natural oils including lemongrass, lime, jojoba & patchouli, with no synthetic fragrances or colours. It's recommended for anybody who is looking for skin detox.
It gives you a great aromatherapy experience and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and looking radiant. I massaged it into my skin very slowly, as I wanted to enjoy this spa-like experience. It feels very luxurious, wakes up your senses and makes the exfoliating routine very pleasant. Simply rinse it off and you will be left with silky, nourished skin. On top of that, the beautiful fragrance stays on your skin all day and I was surprised when my husband kept asking me what smells so good, as he thought that I've been secretly eating a delicious dessert :)

I was looking for a link to this product but I only found a Daybreak detox salt scrub with Geranium and Grapefruit that retails at £19.50 here. To see what else  Elementary Skincare has got to offer visit their online shop here.
