NOTD- Dior Vernis Nail Polish Pink Boa No. 349

Hi everyone.
Quick NOTD post today :) I always wanted to try Dior nail polish and I finally bought one few weeks ago :) The shade is called Pink Boa no 349. One thing I love about this nail polish is the shape of the brush. It makes the application really easy. I am not sure about the consistency though...
One coat would be perfect for a french manicure, but I wanted a more opaque colour. To achieve this I needed three generous coats. The final effect was quite nice, so my score is 7/10.
I wouldn't pay the full price for it. I think it retails at £14. I bought it on a blog sale for £5 :)
What do you think about Dior nail polish? I would love to hear your opinion.

MUST HAVE- Weleda Skin Food Review

We are what we eat as some say. What I am going to recommend today is to feed your skin with Weleda's Skin Food* It is a truly amazing product that will literally save your skin!

WELEDA SKIN FOOD
It is a deeply moisturising skin repair cream that will help to heal all those stubborn dry and rough patches on your knees, elbows and anywhere else on your body. You can also use it as a face cream if your skin is dry, especially to protect it from harsh winter weather.
It's also praised by models and make up artists and guess what...even Rihanna loves it :)
Its made with natural ingredients including Hypoallergenic lanolin, Sweet Almond oil and Sunflower Seed oil. I was very happy when  received a package from Weleda few days ago with their famous Skin Food. I've got very dry skin on my elbows and knees so I couldn't  wait to start testing it :)
First impressions:Great smell-very fresh and herbal/citrusy. Thick consistency-exactly what I expect from a deeply moisturising cream. Nice packaging-I like the fact that it's a metal tube, this way you can squeeze every single drop out of it :) It left my skin feeling much smoother instantly. After using it for a couple of days the condition of my skin on elbows and knees improved dramatically.
It will definitely become my essential cream, not only for winter, but all year round.
You can buy the famous SKIN FOOD directly form www.weleda.co.uk available in two sizes:
-travel size 30ml
-full size 75ml

I was also sent a product for my baby boy-Weleda Calendula Bath*
I loved the smell-it's quite strong and it clears your airways, so used before bedtime it will definitely help with better sleep. I am always scared to try new skin care products on my baby because he had eczema for a while, but this product didn't irritate Zachary's sensitive skin. It also left his hair smelling really fresh.

URBAN DECAY BOOK OF SHADOWS VOL II review with swatches

I noticed that everyone went crazy for the Urban Decay Naked and Naked2 palettes and I must admit- I was thinking about purchasing them myself.  I decided to wait though, because I own a huge collection of  single Urban Decay eye shadows (about 20) and the Book Of Shadows Vol II... and I really don't need more eyeshadows at the moment.  Saying that... I know that I will buy both of the palettes really soon :) haha. I am an Urban Decay addict and I love the formula of their eye shadows! Anyway... Here is my review of the beautiful Book Of Shadows Vol II.

First of all, I like the unusual packaging. The palette comes with a big mirror and has a 'secret' compartment/door with a little booklet hidden inside. In the booklet, you can find some gorgeous makeup looks. The eye shadows are hidden in a pullout drawer and the whole thing is made of thick cardboard with  lovely peacock feather print accents.

There is 16 shades in the palette, all are easy to apply and stay on all day, if used with a primer. Most shades have a creamy consistency and they are definitely my favourites -easy to work with and super pigmented. My favourite shades are: Sellout, Half baked, YDK, Nylon, Jinx & Flipside. I rarely use Misdemeanor and Perversion, because the formula is less creamy than the other shades. It's great to have the eye pencils and a mini primer in the palette too, because you can do most of your eye make up without reaching for other products. (except mascara). The quality of these is equally good and I love how pigmented the pencils are. probably my favourite eye pencils ever!

I can't remember how much I paid for this palette, probably between £30-£40, but I am very pleased with it and I think it is worth every penny. I love it! I give this palette 10 out of 10! It is probably my most used makeup purchase ever and definitely my favourite eye shadow palette.

PS. All the swatches below were done with the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion applied as a base.

perversion, gunmetal, ecstasy, AC/DC

nylon, sellout, mushroom, sphynx
