NEW IN- bangles- Cobalt blue and white

I bought these from  ASOS and I paid £7 in total. The cobalt blue glittery cuff was £5 and the white faux leather cuff with gold studs was  £2. I love the cobalt blue glitter effect, but unfortunately little bits of glitter started to  fall off.  I will definitely wear it with cobalt blue jeans or a cobalt blue top. I am in love with this colour at the moment.

latest DIY projects

I was planning to do quite a lot of DIY step by step projects on my blog but it is impossible when my baby boy is trying to climb everything in sight :) haha

Instead of showing you step by step pictures, I am sharing the final effects. I made a sequin bib necklace and two friendship bracelets.

NEON NAILS part 2 - touch of pink

After painting my nails with yellow neon I decided to try a different look with Barry M Nail Paint Instant Nail Effects in Pink Crackle. Here is the final effect:

NEON NAILS. mavala+stargazer

It looks like neon colours are becoming more and more popular this year.
I always liked a touch of neon on my nails so I don't need to rush to buy new bottles of nail polish :)
I checked my collection and I found a perfect combo:

MAVALA- 128 ACID YELLOW
&
STAR GAZER-102 NEON YELLOW

I used 2 coats of Mavala and 2 coats of Stargazer to get the desired colour. It looks fabulous!
I think that it goes with denim so thats what I decided to wear today :)

DO you like neon???

Little birdie told me... ASOS Pink Bird jewellery stand

As soon as I spotted this jewellery stand I had to have it :) I am obsessed with jewellery and the situation got out of control recently ;) This little (actually quite big) stand is perfect to display and organise your rings, necklaces and bracelets.

I will do a separate post about my jewellery storage ideas in the future, but today I am sharing my find with you :) Its from asos.com and it was £7.50!!!

Primark Bargains

I have a love/hate relationship with Primark, but I am glad I decided to check out their sales. All the pieces I got were £1 each except the clutch bag - it was £3.00.

Black faux leather bangle with gold studs.

Hi everyone!

I fell in love with Hermes Collier de Chien range and I couldn't sleep at night until I got myself something similar. (Just kidding, haha)  I got a white bracelet with gold studs that looked similar to the Hermes one for Christmas and I adore it, so getting more colours was just a matter of time :)

Yesterday I received a black one  with more detail and I need to admit- its absolutely gorgeous!!!
It's edgy and it goes with everything in my wardrobe :)

DIY: How to make a studded faux leather collar

This is my first DIY post and I need to admit- with a 6 month old baby boy crawling on the floor trying to grab everything in his eyesight - it was very hard!!!
The technical side of the project did not turn out 100% the way I planned it :) I wasn't able to take pictures of everything...But I am happy with the final effect :)

You will need: faux leather, scissors, studs, satin ribbon &  hemming tape

1.cut a collar shape out of faux leather ( C shape)

2.attach studs (I used the ones that pierce through the fabric and close on the other side)
very easy to bend, you can use your hands to do it :)

 3.follow around the edge

4.Attach satin ribbon with iron on hemming tape (follow instructions on the packaging)
or stitch the ribbon onto the collars ends.
I used hemming tape.
Remember-leather sticks to the iron- so be careful not to touch the leather directly with the iron.
use cotton fabric to protect it.

Et Voila!

I am sorry that I didn't provide detailed pictures of attaching the ribbon and studs, but I am sure its easy enough to figure out how to do it. Use your imagination  with the studs, I used 3 different sizes in two colours to give it a unique and interesting look.

Here is the full collar. I love it!
