Brand focus: Typology Paris

(AD/gifted) This post contains gifted products and affiliate links

Skincare has always been a huge part of my blog (and my daily routine) and I have tried hundreds (or thousands) of products over the years and  it became very rare for a brand to catch my eye and get me intrigued, but... Typology managed to make me excited to write about skincare again. Yay!

I have been using Typology products for a long time and I mention them on Instagram quite a lot, so you are probably familiar with the name and aesthetic. I adore their ethos, packaging and formulas. I was recently sent a few more bits to try, so I thought it was about time to finally share my thoughts on the blog.

This post contains gifted products and affiliate links.

With this years delivery delays, I haven't managed to get everything in time for this gift guide, but here are some lovely ideas I put together if you're looking for last minute beauty gifts. From skincare and makeup to perfume and stocking fillers from some of my favourite brands.

My Summer Beauty Favourites

AD/gifted: This post included gifted products and affiliate links

It's that time of the year again, when I share my Summer beauty favourites. Some are new to my routine and some have been mentioned already and repurchased. There aren't many makeup products on my face lately, as I've been keeping it very simple and letting my natural skin glow, so it's all about skincare and SPF these days.

My St Tropez Self Tanning Favourites

This post contains gifted products and affiliate links
I was a self tan enthusiast for a long time, but in the past few years I completely stopped using it, as I just couldn't be bothered with stained clothes or bedding etc. But... last Summer I attended a St. Tropez event and was introduced to their Purity range with a clear formula and let me tell you - it's an absolute game changer and made me fall back in love with fake tan!

Brand Focus: Glossier

This post contains press samples and affiliate links
I have been meaning to write about Glossier since I first tried the brand last year, but I lost the photos I took, so I waited and waited and now I actually used up some of the products, hence the empty packaging. You know you love something, when you literally scrape every single last bit out!

I recently attended the Girls Day Out Show in Glasgow with Pixi Beauty and I must admit - they had the most beautiful setup! It looked magical! I added loads of photos to my Instagram and saved it in my story highlights, if you want to have a little peek. I came home with some of their gorgeous products and I think they would be perfect as Christmas presents or stocking fillers for beauty and makeup enthusiasts.

I was planning to blog about all my holiday must haves before or during our Summer break in France, but I was super busy packing and then I enjoyed myself soooo much at the villa, that I didn't even open my laptop. Best holiday ever! Now I am back, let me tell you what I packed with me, as many of you are probably going on holiday in August/September.

Janjira 24K Gold Rituals rejuvenating Elixir & Hydrating Moisturiser

When I first heard about the Janjira 24K Gold Rituals range I was immediately drawn the the gold sparkle in the serum, as there is something very luxurious about it. Once I did some more research, I found out that the gold not only looks pretty, but it actually provides anti-ageing and brightening effects and helps to add a youthful, radiant glow to the skin.

Today I want to share some love for the GlamGlow WATERBURST™ Hydrated Glow Moisturizer*(£39.00) with you. Since the day I got it, I have been obsessed with the scent, texture and the way it makes my skin feel. It's such a fabulous product! Sometimes you just fall in love with something and can't stop talking about it and this is the case with GlamGlow Waterburst.

Sönd Clean Slate Cleanser Review

The Ordinary Skincare

First blog post of 2018 and I am starting the year with a skincare chat. Not a detailed review, as I am not a skincare expert, but I am just going to share my thought on a few things I have tried from The Ordinary, who offer fab products at affordable prices, including blogger favourites like: Hyaluronic Acid and Glycolic Toner. And they now have a counter in Glasgow too, which is fantastic news!

Glamglow Gravitymud review

I love a good face mask and unless you've been living under a rock, you will know that Glamglow does face masks really, really well! I adore their original Youthmud and the Supermud clearing treatment, so my expectations were pretty high when I gave the Glamglow Gravitymud*(£42.00) a go. Was it love at first try though?

Shimmer and Glow with Tropic Skincare

Even though the Summer is almost over, I am not ditching shimmering body oils, golden highlighters and SPF. I love a bit of glow, regardless of the season and SPF is essential all year round as well.

BareMinerals Blemish Remedy Anti-Imperfection Serum review.

As far as I can remember, I have struggled with breakouts. From acne on my face, back and arms to sore hormonal breakouts on my jawline or tiny ones allover my face. I went through a few periods of having relatively clear skin as well, but I can't remember the last time I had a completely spot free face. Considering the fact that I just turned 30, it is pretty ridiculous! That's why I am always on the lookout for new products aimed at blemishes, like the bareMinerals® Blemish Remedy Anti Imperfection Treatment Serum*(£36.00).
