Budget Buy: MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter

I have been trying to get my mitts on the MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter for absolute ages, but it was sold out everywhere for a couple of months! Crazy! I made sure to sign up to Superdrug's notifications though, to let me know when it is back in stock and as soon as I got the email, I ordered... THREE of them :) haha.

Autumn Eye Shadow Palettes: Urban Decay, The Balm, Clarins, Barry M, MUA, Laura Mercier, Eye Of Horus

Autumn is probably my favourite 'makeup season' and as soon as the weather becomes a bit chilly, I find myself reaching for eye shadow palettes on a daily basis. They all deserve more love and I always  feel horrible about neglecting them (a tiny bit) in Spring/Summer. I went through my eye shadow stash and picked some gorgeous palettes with earthy, brown and golden shades. I love warm eyes in Autumn, especially with a touch of burgundy or green.

Budget buy: MUA lipstick in shade 2

I found this post in my drafts and I just couldn't leave it unpublished :) To be honest, I stopped reaching for cheap lipsticks, because I am always scared that the ingredients used in them are really bad.
I do have a big selection of £1 MUA lippies though and some of them are really gorgeous.

MUA pretty pastels eyeshadow palette review with swatches

Hi everyone. I usually host giveaways myself, but sometimes I enter the ones organized by fellow bloggers too. I was lucky enough to win a couple of bits and bobs in the past 7 months :) I think all of them were single item giveaways though. The most recent one was MUA Pretty Pastel palette. I was planning to buy it myself, but like I mentioned before, my local Superdrug stores are really bad at stocking MUA. The shelves are always empty and I don't like to buy makeup online, I like to swatch it before, see it etc..
First of all I need to say that I have been using Urban Decay eye shadows most of my adult life, so I am used to great quality and and an amazing colour payoff. I will add my UD collection post soon.

The MUA palette is a bargain, retailing at £4 for 12 colours. I didn't expect it to be amazing, but it is actually ok. The one I got contains pastel colours, very delicate powder pinks, violet, blue, lime green and some neutrals. You can see all the colours in the swatches below (All the pictures were taken in natural daylight). All shades except the first one in the top row are slightly shimmery, not very pigmented and a bit powdery. To get the best results, I would recommend using a primer. Surprisingly the colours lasted on my eyelids for most of the day without creasing , so if you are looking for a cheap eye shadow palette you should definitely give this one a go. Have you ever tried their make up?

My Nail Polish Collection

Hi everyone!
As promised , I finally got to photograph most of my nail polishes. I couldn't find all of them, I really don't know where they are. My house is huge and I have got far too much stuff, so it was impossible to find all of them. I photographed 120 and here they are. My favourite brands are: Barry M, Essie, Models Own, Deborah Lippmann, Essence, OPI, Ciate and Mavala. I managed to squeeze all the nail polishes into one drawer and organised them in empty beauty boxes. Most of my accessories are stored in a separate drawer in a small box. I think I will build a nice display unit for my favourite nail polishes and if I do I will definitely blog about it :)
What are your favourite brands and how big is your collection?

BUDGET BLUSHERS: Accessorize Scandal, MUA in shades 1 and 4

I picked up a few blushers from Superdrug and I thought I will do a quick comparison.
I love blushers and I can't imagine my makeup without them. It just looks unfinished to me.
I don't stick to one shade, I like to try different ones. It also depends on the colour of my skin. In summer I am usually very tanned, so I go for bronzers or blushers with gold shimmer.
At the moment, I am in love with pretty pinks and peachy shades.
I bought 2 MUA blushers in shades 1 and 4 and a cute accessorize blusher in shade 6-Scandal.
ACCESSORIZE MERGED BAKED BLUSHER- 6- SCANDAL
First of all, I love the packaging. It is absolutely gorgeous! The product itself looks really pretty, I love the swirls of different colours. It really caught my eye in the shop and I couldn't resist it! I am so glad I picked it up. The pigmentation is great and it looks perfect on my skin! It is a lovely shimmery(but not too shimmery) medium pink with a little bit of light gold highlighter. I am very impressed! It costs £5 and it feels really luxurious!
It became my favourite blusher!

MUA BLUSHERS
SHADE 1
I really like to use it when I want to achieve a natural look. It is a light pink with a bit of shimmer.
There is a little fall out, but for £1 you can't go wrong. I think that it suits all skin tones, so if you get a chance, pick it up from Superdrug. The packaging is nice and simple and  there is 6 different shades to chose from. I wasn't very keen on trying MUA, I thought... 1£ makeup must be terrible. It isn't! I can't wait to try other MUA products.
SHADE 4
This is another shade that will suit all skin tones. It is a warm peachy colour and it feels very nice and smooth when applied on my cheeks. It has got just the right amount of shimmer and I really like it. Both MUA blushers have got great pigmentation and are really worth trying.

LEOPARD PRINT- BLACK AND GOLD- WITH KONAD

I don't want my blog to turn into a nail blog :) but I just love sharing my latest nail polish purchases and creations with you :)
Today I went for black and gold leopard print look.
All products used, are on the last picture. I love my Konad stamping kit and I ordered more plates with different designs. They are so easy to use, and you can create so many looks with just one plate and many colour combinations.
