Christmas Gift Guide: Home Fragrance

How excited are you when it's time to light those Christmas candles? I burn some of mine all year round, because I love festive scents a lot, but I keep some special ones exclusive to December to create a nice atmosphere and lovely memories. Scent is a powerful thing, so it's pretty important to me to have my house smelling good. Here are some of my top picks for Christmas 2016.

I very rarely have time to relax these days, as the kids are keeping me extra busy, but I found one thing that makes me feel like I just escaped to a SPA for a few minutes and it's a good skin treatment/massage candle. I have a couple in my collection and today I want to tell you more about them.

Neom Organics is definitely my favourite home fragrance brand, especially when it comes to Christmas scents. Their Christmas Wish candle is my must have for the festive period and this year it comes in even more beautiful packaging. 

Weekend Pamper #3

After a stressful week and a couple of sleepless nights, thanks to panic attacks and sleep paralysis, I seriously needed a Saturday night pamper session. I am not picky when it comes to candle scents. I love sweet, floral, spicy, herbal, woody etc... I do have a couple of specific favourites though and most of them are from Neom. That's why I was really excited, when their new 'Love' Home Candle landed on my doorstep. As soon as I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised with the scent. It isn't something I would normally expect from Neom. 'Love' is much sweeter than the rest of their candles, which is a good thing for those who find Neom's scents too herbal and overpowering.

I love Neom's Refresh range, especially the gorgeous room spray and candle. I use them, when I want my house to smell very fresh, but not overpowering and they work really well in the kitchen as well. That's why I was very excited to try the Refresh body wash and I must admit - it is a  gorgeous product.

My first NEOM purchase was a Real Luxury shower gel, so lighting the candle brought back some lovely memories. It's amazing, that fragrances have the ability to do that! 

Neom Perfect Night's Sleep Set Review: Tranquility Candle, Bath Foam and Room Mist

Getting a good night's sleep is very important to me and I cannot function properly, if I don't get a minimum of 8 hours. I try to go to bed around 23.00 and I am woken up by my 2 year old toddler between 8.00-9.00 in the morning. I know... I should feel lucky :) haha. I am extremely grateful for having such a good sleeper. One thing stopping me from drifting off to sleep is anxiety. To deal with it, I have been using Neom's Tranquility products with Lavender, known for it's sedative qualities.

I love scented candles and home fragrance in general and I always have at least one reed diffuser in the living room or in the hallway. At the moment, I have one in each room :) haha. Most of them are vanilla scented, because my husband loves it, but I like to experiment with new blends of oils and buy new diffusers quite often.
