Bobbi Brown Molten Metals Liquid Eyeshadows

This post contains PR samples and affiliate links.

I was kindly sent the new Bobbi Brown Molten Metals Liquid Eyeshadows*(£18.50) last month and I can honestly say that I haven't been this excited about a makeup item in a while. I mentioned these in my Spring edit, but I have to dedicate a full blog post and swatches to this product, because I love it so much!

AD: Summer Makeup & Beauty with Boots

AD - this is a paid collaboration with Boots.com

I always have a little switch up in my makeup bag, skincare stash and even in my perfume collection for the Summer, because sometimes you need sunshine, a holiday or a festival to pull off neon liner or glitter makeup on your face. I am not afraid of taking risks though and you will always see me trying new trends and colours - I just love it! Today I am sharing some of my Summer beauty picks and a fun and easy makeup look which would be perfect for a festival or if you simply want to add a pop of colour just for fun!

My current go to makeup look.

Since Zachary started school I have been wearing makeup Monday to Friday, as I just can't face new people without some slap on! Maybe I will relax more in a few months, but at the moment, I ain't going nowhere without winged liner, haha :) This look has been my go to lately and here's what I used to create it.

theBalm Balm Voyage Palette

I don't own a massive selection of theBalm products, but everything I have tried from them so far has been absolutely amazing, from stunning highlighters to buttery soft eye shadows. The newest addition to my makeup collection is the 'Balm Voyage' palette and I am slightly obsessed with it. The selection of eye shadows and lip/cheek colours is perfect and the formulas are a dream to apply.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer & Lip Gloss #HowDoYouHoola

This little bronzer quickly became one of my favourite products and the fact that it has my name on it made it even more special. I've tried a mini Hoola bronzer in the past, but for some reason I didn't repurchase it. I know, I am such a fool :) haha. Benefit Hoola Bronzer is absolutely stunning and I couldn't be more excited about having it back in my life. I also got a chance to try the Hoola lip gloss and I think it's fantastic! I love the formula of Benefit Ultra Plush Glosses - they feel incredible on the lips. After putting both products to the test and I can finally  share my #HowDoYouHoola selfie, complete with a Hawaiian necklace :)

New budget makeup brand: Makeup Revolution

When it comes to budget makeup brands, there is a big gap on the market and my drugstore favourites are not as cheap as I would like them to be anymore. Thankfully, the recent launch of Makeup Revolution blew me away and I am really impressed with the quality, price and variety of their products. There is something fro everyone, including purse friendly dupes of popular eye shadow palettes, stunning lip colours, a dreamy foundation, baked blushers, highlighters and more! Most products cost between £1 to £4. Bargain!

What's on my face #1

I quite like the idea of 'What's On My Face' posts so I thought I should start sharing my favourite makeup products weekly. I reviewed some of the products featured in this post already, but you can expect full reviews of the other bits next week :)

OOTD: Corals and peaches

Hi everyone. I am sitting on the sofa right now and the weather outside is absolutely horrendous! It has been raining since I woke up, the wind is turning into a hurricane and our bins are flying around the street (seriously!)... What's going on? What happened to Spring?  I want to wear beautiful dresses and flats, not a rain jacket an wellies!

Youngblood Spring 2013 Bouquet Collection and makeup look

With all the Spring collections coming out this year one after another, it is really hard to keep up with all of them.
I already noticed some Summer ones appearing in my feed :O

The most recent launch I was lucky to try out is The Bouquet Collection by Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics.
Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to the London event (I live in Scotland), but I had a chance to play with the products at home and created a colourful Spring look with them.

A Simple Coral Look For Spring

Hi everyone. When I was preparing this post at the weekend I did not expect to see snow again :) What's going on with the weather in UK? I mean... There is 10 cm of snow in my garden and it keeps snowing! Crazy! Anyway... I am guessing that it is just temporary and I am hoping to see sunshine again.  I try to stick to natural looks in Spring and Summer and this one is my favourite - coral lips and cheeks and subtle eye makeup.

OOTD: Richard Nicoll Dress

Hi everyone. I finally managed to find time to prepare an outfit post again. Yay! It is always a struggle for me, because when my camera is on a self timer, I am not in control and it irritates me :) It doesn't really focus properly on the outfits and as you can see on the photo above, my moving hand is blurry etc :) haha. Anyway... I hope you like it.
This outfit features a beautiful Richard Nicoll for Trop50 Dress* I received recently and it is a special one.

FOTD: Full Coverage and minimal eye makeup

I know, I know... Another neutral look... I apologize, but I really wanted to mention my Holy Grail Full Coverage Foundation. I can't imagine my life without it! It is the amazing Vichy Dermablend!!! I have been using it for over 6 years and it always saves me when I have problems with nasty breakouts. It gives the best coverage I could ask for and it is just incredible. I will dedicate a full review to it soon (and the Vichy Dermablend powder), but today you can see a little preview of the product on my face. Due to lots of stress, I got a new wave of breakouts on my neck and jawline again and it is driving me crazy!!! Without this corrective foundation I wouldn't be able to go out of the house. If you suffer from acne- you will LOVE it and it will change your life. It covers everything, without clogging your pores and looking cakey!

Orange lips for Autumn?

I wouldn't usually go for orange lips in Autumn, but I fell in love with a gorgeous Youngblood lipstick in shade Tangelo. It is a beautiful bright orange, very creamy and hydrating. I will be reviewing it soon.
I paired it with a dark brown smoky eye and natural cheeks, with no blusher.
What do you think about this combo? I love it.

What I am currently using on my face :)

Hi everyone.
I get asked about my makeup every single day and I recently changed and added some products I am using on my face, so I thought I will update you on what I am currently loving.

First of all, the base:
I am using MAC sculpting creams in Accentuate and Copper Beech to contour my face. They are amazing, very creamy and easy to blend and create perfect canvas. I use them with Liz Earle Foundation or Ginvera BB Cream and the effect is amazing. I also set the base with a loose powder- Liz Earle or Vichy Dermablend. (I will be reviewing MAC Sculpting Cream next week)

Cheeks and highlight:
I adore NARS Orgasm and Liz Earle blush in shade Nectar and I use this combo all the time.
It works great for me. I also add Lily Lolo Mineral Shimmer as a highlighter on the top of my cheekbones, nose, temples and  chin. (reviews here and here)

Eyes:
I fell in love with Clarins  Eye Quartet- 03 Rosewood. The shades are beautiful and look very natural, creating perfect day time looks. (review here)
I always use my favourite Bourjois eye liner (review here) and any mascara I can find in my makeup bag :)

Eyebrows:
Fashionista brow kit (review here)

Lips:
I am in love with Lily Lolo lipstick in Intense Crush and I can't stop wearing it.
