Brand Focus: Glossier

I have been meaning to write about Glossier since I first tried the brand last year, but I lost the photos I took, so I waited and waited and now I actually used up some of the products, hence the empty packaging. You know you love something, when you literally scrape every single last bit out!

Let's start with my favourite product from the brand, the Milk Jelly Cleanser*(177ml, £15). It is everything I look for in a cleanser: removes makeup easily, is suitable for sensitive eyes and nourishes the skin, instead of stripping it. It is possibly my new favourite cleanser of all time, as the milky cream/gel texture is a dream to use! I normally go for oil/solid balm cleansers like DHC, Emma Hardie or Clinique Take The Day Off, but this has been my got to for the past 6+ months and I love it! It removes all traces of makeup and melts even the most stubborn mascara, my eyes don't get irritated when I use it and it leaves my skin clean and soft. And the price is great too! You can use it as a morning cleanser too, you just use 1 pump instead of 2-3 pumps. It says on the website that it doesn't remove waterproof mascara, but I haven't had this problem, as it removes all makeup easily. Overall it's a 10/10!

Next we have another skincare product, the Priming Moisturiser*(50ml, £18). Again - it is fantastic! I honestly didn't expect Glossier skincare to be this amazing, but it blew me away and I have been recommending it to everyone. This product is a primer and a hydrating moisturiser in one and creates a perfect base for makeup. It instantly plumps and soothes the skin, minimises pores and evens out skin texture without nasty pore clogging ingredients. It also contains an anti-redness complex which really helps with my red cheeks. One of my top 3 moisturisers and an absolute pleasure to use!

I actually only started using the Stretch Concealer*(£15.00) recently, as I was using up other ones and I initially didn't like the formula, but I gave it another go and I love it. Talk about a change of heart! It has a creamy and slightly oily/waxy consistency, giving a glowy and natural finish without compromising the coverage. It is buildable and easy to blend and you can either leave it looking dewy, or set with powder. It is ideal for dry skin, due to it's waxy texture, but I find it fab on normal skin. I have been using it under my eyes, on blemishes and even as a foundation when I want a a very natural finish. It features mineral pigments for coverage and micro waxes to seamlessly blend into the skin. It is now available in 12 shades with a good variety.

Another winner - the Boy Brow*(£14.00) eyebrow filler and shaper. I have the clear version and I use it to set my brow hair in place. It is a creamy wax formula which offers soft, flexible hold and doesn't flake. It comes in four shades: Blond, Brown, Black and Clear.

Last but not least, Balm Dotcom*(£10.00), the original clear and unscented version. It is a multipurpose balm for lips and skin and you can use it on any dry areas. It is fab for cuticles and  elbows or any dry patches and packed with antioxidants and natural emollients to nourish, repair and seal in moisture. It's also available flavoured and tinted: Birthday (inspired by Milk Bar’s famous cake, with subtle shimmer), Rose (with a barely-there pink tint), Cherry (with a sheer, juicy red tint), Mint, and Coconut. I need them all!

Overall, I am really impressed with Glossier and I completely get the hype! I would definitely repurchase the skincare, it's sooo good!
