OOTD: Over The Knee Boots and Kimono Dress

I am really trying to wear a variety of colours and I even bought some very bright dresses for Spring, but I just can't stay away from all black outfits, sorry... They're just so timeless. I finally got some over the knee boots as well and I am really feeling this outfit.

Let's start with the dress. It's the Belted Kimono Dress by Lovedrobe*(£45.00). I adore the lace trim on the waterfall sleeves and the chiffon fabric feels nice an airy. I ordered it in a size 20 and it is fitted as you can see, but I tend to lose quite a bit of weight in Spring/Summer each year, as I do more walking etc, so I thought this size would be perfect for my fluctuating dress size, as it looks nice fitted and loose.

The lace sleeves underneath are actually part of a Floral lace body*(£25.00) which I found in the lingerie section at Simply Be. Such a nice piece to wear underneath if you want to wear shapewear, but you also want it to be pretty and feminine. It has a sweetheart neckline which I will show you in another outfit in the future, as I think it will look great with a tutu. It has a tummy control panel at the front which feels amazingly smooth and I am obsessed with it! So nice!

It was really windy when we were taking the photos, but it actually helped to show off the gorgeous detail on the sleeves of the dress. Just look at them, so, so pretty! I cannot wait to wear it again and again. I think it will be one of my most worn pieces of 2018. I am obsessed.

I also love my hair here. So much action, haha.

Now onto the boots. I was struggling to find ones with good reviews, as everyone complained that none of them stay up. I was desperate for some over the knee ones though and I eventually picked these Irina Boots* in a super curvy fit and unfortunately, they are too big for my thighs and a bit loose around my knees. I had to clip them at the back for them to stay up and look fitted. Such a shame. I am yet to find a pair of over the knee boots to fit me perfectly, it's soooo hard! I do love the way they look on me though, it's such a nice look, isn't it? So elegant and timeless.

The clutch bag is by Stella & Dot. It's the Classic City Slim Clutch*(£50.00). I really love it. I just have to get a chain for it, so I can also wear it on my shoulder.

I apologise it's all black again, but you just can't go wrong with it. This dress is simply stunning and it looks amazing with over the knee boots.

All the items are from Simply Be, except the clutch bag.
