TRAVEL: Princes Street Suites Edinburgh

Hi everyone. I love reviewing hotels on the blog, so when we were asked to take part in a Kidsadvisor campaign with Princes Street Suites Edinburgh, we jumped at the chance.

Zac absolutely loved every minute of it and it was his favourite place we have ever stayed at. It was lovely to watch his excitement and he loved the fact that he was the little hotel inspector and kept saying 'but mummy, they invited ME here, remember?' Bless his little heart. He's such a cutie.

We arrived in Edinburgh a bit before our check-in time so we spent some time in the park and the kids had fun running around and lounging on the Costa seats. The enjoyed a babycinno each (Mia spilled hers allover her outfit, typical) and sipped on daddy's mint cooler.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by the loveliest receptionist, handed our key and given directions to our apartment. It was a 3 bedroom on the 4th floor and we took an elevator to get there.

When we opened the door, we couldn't believe how spacious it was and the kids were running around and screaming with excitement. It was love at first sight. The lounge was my favourite room. I love the decor with blue tartan and stunning pieces of furniture.

There was a huge dining table in the lounge and I couldn't wait to have dinner and breakfast together as a family.

After having a look around the apartment, we settled with a cuppa and let the kids play hide and seek. They were so happy! It was lovely to watch them explore the flat together.

How gorgeous is this fruit bowl! So unique!

Mia munching on come crisps.

From all the decor, this armchair and the mirror were my favourite pieces.

The complementary shortbread was sooo yummy!

The bedrooms were also lovely and all featuring the same theme. Blue and tartan. The sheets were clean  and the beds were super comfy. The kids loved having their own rooms!

I am not normally into blue, but I fell in love with the decor of the apartment, as it was all well thought out and matching.

 Even the hallway was pretty!

The kitchen was lovely and spacious.

And filled with everything from pots and pans to a crockery, cutlery and utensils. Perfect self catering option!

A hamper full of yummy treats was waiting for us at arrival, including bread, eggs, butter, jam, juice, crisps and cereal. There was milk in the fridge and a pack of shortbread as well. So lovely!

We had a lovely dinner together - some delicious filling salads and kids favoruites. Yummy!

 Kids requested muffins.

One of the perks of staying at Princes Street Suites Edinburgh is their rooftop. It's massive and has amazing views of the city. The kids loved it so much!

Zac kept asking to go there to run around, blow bubbles and look at all the buildings.

Another kids favourite - a big bath!

This was the main bathroom with a bath.

But we also had an ensuite in our bedroom with a shower.

Before we knew it, it was time to go home and we really didn't want to leave. it was such a lovely apartment! We had the loveliest time.We go to Edinburgh quite a lot, so we just spent time in the apartment, but we love the Royal Botanic Gardens and Edinburgh Zoo and there is so much stuff to do in the city.

And here's Zachary's review! Enjoy!
