NYE Makeup Look with bareMinerals

I was planning to share this makeup look during the festive period, but I was completely out of the full blogging thing and haven't even logged into my dashboard. I think it's a nice look for New Year's Eve though, so I decided to share it anyway. I created it with some gorgeous bareMinerals products I've been using for the past few weeks.

They released so many lovely items recently and their full range is just fab! From mineral foundations to stunning eyeshadows and super pigmented lipsticks, there is something for everyone.

To prep my skin, I used the Brightening Foundation Primer*(£23.00). It instantly brightens, reduces fine lines and pores and combats excess oil. It is also infused with nourishing vitamins and antioxidants to give your skin that extra boost.

I mentioned Complexion Rescue*(£27.00) in the past and I am still obsessed with it. It is light, hydrating and offers medium coverage. Perfect!

As I like a bit more coverage, especially when my skin is bad, I use the BAREPRO™ Performance Wear Powder Foundation*(£27.00) to set the base and camouflage imperfections. I use shade 16 Sandstone and it is a perfect match. It stays put for 12 hours and lets your skin breathe, which is important for those who tend to get breakouts. I apply it with the sponge provided and it gives such a lovely silky  finish.

The Marvelous Moxie Lipstick*(£17.00) in a gorgeous shade 'Call The Shots' is a perfect deep red! It is super pigmented and very hydrating and looks very glossy on the lips. Beautiful colour and a beautiful formula.

On the cheeks, I am wearing Benefit Hoola, Benefit Rockateur and the Balm Mary Lou Manizer.

On the eyes I used the beautiful The Wish List Palette*. I adore all the shades in it, but this time I went for a golden brown smokey eye.

I used Gold Leaf allover the lid, Boardroom in the Crease and Merry+Chance as a highlight under the brow and in the inner corners.

A quick coat of Lash Domination Mascara* and a liquid liner flick and that's it.

I was at the bareMinerals Glasgow boutique in Buchannan Galleries recently and it looks amazing, so pop in for a little makeover and to give the products a go when you're spending your Christmas money :)

PS. Just a little disclaimer - this blog post is not sponsored, I am just loving bareMinerals at the moment. I realise that some bloggers were paid to promote their Christmas campaign, so I am making sure you know I am not being paid. I am always transparent anyway, but I would rather say it just in case someone is suspicious.
