I have been wearing a lot of makeup lately, so I am trying to make sure I have some light coverage/natural days too, just to give my skin a bit of a break. I have been using some fab bareMinerals products to cleanse and moisturise and their Complexion Rescue and Invisible Light Duo to even out my skintone and add a glow to my face.
The Complexion Rescue*(£27.00) is a Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream and it just melts into the skin, providing sheer-to-medium coverage and an even, radiant and natural finish. The texture is lovely and feels super hydrating and soothing, making it perfect for my skin at the moment. The formula contains olive-derived squalane, marine botanicals, hydrating humectants trehalose, glycerin, and coconut-derived ingredients to replenish, hydrate, nourish and condition, plus unique water-encapsulations for an extra boost of hydration. Perfect for any skin type, but especially for dry and dehydrated skin.
The Invisible Light Transluscent Powder Duo*(£28.00) is ideal for setting my makeup, without feeling heavy or cakey. I just sweep the matte powder allover my face, focusing on oily areas and use the glow one as a subtle highlighter on the high points of my face. Both powders are feather light and just perfect, if you prefer a natural non-cakey look but you still want your makeup to last well throughout the day.
The two skincare products I have been using daily are pretty good too and even though I don't usually go for gel cleansers, I like the BLEMISH REMEDY™ Anti-Imperfection Treatment Gelee Cleanser*(£17.00) in the morning, as it feels very refreshing and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or tight. It also treats any existing blemishes and unblocks pores, which prevents future breakouts. I follow with a spritz of toner and the Smart Combination Smoothing Lightweight Emulsion*(£30.00) to moisturise and create a perfect canvas for my makeup. The emulsion is oil free and very lightweight, but it manages to increase moisture levels and make your skin look glowing and radiant and feel smooth and plump.
