NEW! Bourjois A/W 2015

I mentioned the new Bourjois launches on Instagram a couple of times and I was hoping to have the time to swatch them all for you, hence why I waited so long with this post. I did manage to swatch the lipsticks and one of the foundations, but the 2 month old dictator I gave birth to recently didn't let me finish, haha :) I hope you can forgive me this time. It's funny how a 4 year old and a newborn run my schedule these days. I will update the rest of the swatches when I can. Now let's talk about the gorgeous products!

First, we have two new shades of the incredible Rouge Edition Lipsticks* (£7.99) in Pink Catwalk and Fuchsia Safari. The formula is beautiful - great pigmentation, it glides on like a dream and hydrates the lips. The two shades look fairly similar in the swatches, but Pink Catwalk is an orange toned pink/red and Fuchsia Safari is a cooler toned fuchsia pink. The lipsticks have a new bullet shape for a more precise application of the product.

The Rouge Edition Velvets* (£8.99) come in two new colours - Fu(n)schia (bright orange toned red) and Plum Plum Girl (dark plum). Again, the formula is amazing. It dries to a matte finish, but it doesn't dry out the lips at all. It also last really well throughout the day.

The Air Mat Foundation* (£9.99) comes in 8 shades and it would be ideal for oily skin. I have normal/combination skin, but I really like it. If you have dry skin, don't even try it as it clings to dry patches. Air Mat gives a natural matte finish and it is very lightweight. I like using a good rich moisturiser before applying it though for a nicer feel and finish. The coverage is fab too (medium to full) and the formula  is enriched with mattifying micronized powders to elimate shine without the horrid 'mask effect'. Swatch it in store, as it won't match your current Bourjois shade.

The Bourjois' Little Round Pot Nude Edition eyeshadows*(£6.99) come in much sleeker packaging than the old style pots that I was obsessed with by the way! They were the only shadows I used when I first experimented with a smokey eye and before I moved on to Urban Decay. The new shades feature three different finishes: pearl, matte and shimmery and the colours are very wearable and perfect for A/W. The pigmentation is really good and I love using the darker shades individually, blending it out nicely for a soft smokey eye.

The new products launched on the 30th of September  and are available from Boots, Superdug and other stockists.
