Vichy Normaderm BB Clear

Some of my favourite bases are aimed at oily and/or imperfection prone skin, just like the new Vichy Normaderm BB Clear Unifying Corrective Cream* (£16.00), so I was excited to give this one a go.

The formula was designed to offer radiant, even, healthy looking skin, while treating and protecting it at the same time. Thanks to 2% Salicylic Acid, Zinc and Kaolin, the cream reduces inflammation, clogged pores and excess oil production. It is also enriched with Vichy Thermal Spa Water for added hydration and contains SPF 16 for sun protection.

Vichy Normaderm BB Clear gives medium coverage, feels light on the skin and looks very natural. You can use it as a light base on it's own for a more dewy finish, add powder to set it, or add some concealer where you need extra coverage. The formula is suitable for sensitive skin and eyes, hypoallergenic and alcohol free.

Available in 2 shades: Light and Medium. I have medium and to be honest, it is slightly too dark for me (I am NC25 in MAC Studio Fix Fluid). I am assuming that Light would be a bit too light, so I would have to mix two shades to get a good match. I can get away with it, if I fake tan though.

I really like it, especially on days when I just need a bit of coverage and I want my skin to be able to breathe. The skincare benefits are an added bonus and I must admit- my pores are less clogged and any irritation and redness is massively reduced when I use Vichy Normaderm BB Clear for a couple of days.
