I am not gonna lie... it is hard to relax with a new baby around, my inbox full of emails and a toddler who desperately needs attention. There are a couple of things I enjoy, when I want to take my mind off everything that's going on around me though. Here is a list of some of them.
A SIMPLE CUPPA!
I am breastfeeding at the moment, so it is decaf, but there is nothing better than a nice cup of tea and a bit of chocolate to help me relax for a while. Even for 5 minutes. I usually scroll through instagram too, or do some online shopping. It's all about multi-tasking! :)
I used to read a lot when I was younger, but for some reason I struggle to find time for it these days. There is also another problem- once I get sucked into a book - there is no going back. I will stay up till 5 o'clock in the morning to finish it and look like a zombie the next day, haha :) I am currently reading 'Paper Towns' by John Green and I am really enjoying it.
Adult colouring books are taking the world by storm. In fact, some might say that they became a bit of a 'blogger cliche'. Well... I don't care. I have always loved colouring and I would find any excuse to use my little boys colouring books :) With the amazing choice of adult options available these days, I am enjoying colouring even more. It is also amazing for dealing with anxiety.
Something as simple as a manicure ticks more than one box - it relaxes me and makes me feel better about myself. My nail polish collection is getting out of control, so I have a colour for every mood too :)
I am such an addict when it comes to games. That's why I very rarely try something new these days. My latest obsession is Stella Pop. I also tried netbet online casino recently and it is sooo much fun. My dad and sisters love playing slot games in real life, so I thought I should give an online version a go. You just have to know when to stop though. because it is a bit addictive. They also have lots of other games, including blackjack, roulette and poker.
