KIKO Rebel Romantic Collection

If you love gold packaging and gorgeous formulas, you might want to check out the new Rebel Romantic Collection by Kiko. All the products look absolutely stunning and I don't even have the prettiest ones to show you. The packaging of the bronzers (£12.90) blushers (£9.90) and the compact mirror (£5.90) is to die for, so once you visit a Kiko store or their website, you won't leave empty handed.

The collection launched recently and it is very reasonably priced, with some items retailing at as little as £4.90 (lip liners). The most expensive items are the double ended face brush and a face serum (£13.90).  Now let's talk about the products I had a chance to try.

The Contouring Pencil Set*(£9.90) is the most talked about piece from the collection. Yes, everyone still seems to be obsessed with contour and highlight products :) The set is available in two shades: light/medium and medium/dark. I have the lighter option. The contour/bronzer shade is cool enough to be used for sculpting, but it also adds a little bit of warmth to the face. The highlighter is cool toned and looks natural and glowy on  the skin. I found the contour shade more creamy than the highlight, but they are both easy to blend and super easy apply, as the crayon format is very practical. I have been using this duo a lot lately and I think it will stay in my makeup bag for good.

Kiko lipsticks never fail to impress me and the new Intensely Lavish line is  no different. They feel very luxurious and only cost £6.90! The packaging alone makes me want to own every single shade, but the formula is AMAZING too. The lipsticks glide onto the lips like a dream, providing an intense and vibrant colour and a gorgeous shine. The oils keep the lips soft and nourished and the colour lasts for 3-4 hours. There are 6 shades to choose from, all ideal for A/W.

The Intensely Lavish Lip Pencils*(£4.90) feature a long-lasting, creamy formula and great pigmentation. I am obsessed with the lighter shade 02 Pretty Mauve - it is beautiful! I would definitely recommend checking these out. The quality is amazing and the price is much more affordable than MAC etc. I actually think these are much better than MAC.

I am not sure about the other shades, but this one is perfect for brightening up the eye. I use it on the waterline and I am sooo, sooo impressed! It lasts much longer than any other light beige pencil I have tried and it makes my eyes look bigger, without looking like I am wearing something too bright. The texture is creamy and the pigmentation is insanely good!

I wasn't sure if I will suit this colour, but I ended up loving it! Super pigmented, easy to apply and 100% smudge-proof! I actually struggled to remove it after a full day and had to get my best cleansing balm out to get rid of my flick :) haha.

How stunning is the packaging of the Perfecting Eye Serum* (£10.90)? Skincare doesn't usually come in a pretty tube, so it's a nice touch. I haven't tried it yet, but it's meant to illuminate, brighten, reduce bags, dark circles and signs of ageing.

The last two products are the beautiful Metallic Shine Eyeshadows* (£6.90). The cream to powder formula is easy to work with, long lasting and beautifully pigmented. With a metallic finish, these won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I love the way they look on the lid, especially the dusty pink shade (02). Lovely!
