Affordable Skincare Gems Available At Boots

When it comes to skincare, I use high end and budget brands. I have never been a skincare or makeup snob, because some cheaper products can be 10 times better than their expensive alternatives and vice versa. You never know until you try it for yourself.
Boots kindly sent me a box of skincare products, voted 'most loved' by their customers and I must admit - I am really impressed. The only item I already had in my stash was Hydraluron, but the rest is worth mentioning too and ... very affordable!

Hydraluron* (£24.99)
If you have dry skin, you need Hydraluron™ in your life. I can't live without it and I used up over 5 tubes of it already. It's incredible. It helps to boost moisture levels in your skin and you use it under a serum or/and moisturiser. It will keep your skin hydrated, nourished and plump.

Retinol Reface* (£19.99)
This product is probably my favourite from the bunch. I am actually amazed with it and I can't believe it costs only £19.99. It is the best overnight treatment I have ever used and I could feel and see results the morning after! Seriously- if wrinkles (or preventing them) are your concern, you have to try Retinol Reface. It is a light silky cream that contains 3 forms of Retinol (derivative of vitamin A). It will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth like a baby's butt and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I can't recommend it enough.

If you don't want to fork out too much on a night cream, this cool little jar might be a good start.  It claims to boost collagen levels, rejuvenate, brighten, lift, smooth and nourish the skin. It's rich but not too heavy and it contains a mix of anti-ageing ingredients to keep your skin happy and leave your face looking radiant. It has nothing on Retinol Reface, but if you are not worried about wrinkles yet, you might prefer it.

I used this product up very quickly, because I adore the slightly fruity scent. It is a 6-in-1 formulation and it  comes in travel friendly packaging. If you hate heavy creams, but don't like gels either, this is perfect. It is a light lotion, that feels very hydrating and soothing and it really helped when my skin was irritated and dull. I would definitely repurchase it.

I love trying new face masks and this one is great value for money. It is a deep cleansing and exfoliating treatment and it leaves my skin feeling very clean and refreshed. It's a thick, green paste with micro beads and you simply massage it into your skin and leave it on for 10-15 minutes once (or twice) a week to reduce the size of pores, get rid of dead skin cells, prevent breakouts and keep your t-zone at bay. Again, I would definitely repurchase it. It's fab!

I used to buy Botanics products when I first got into skincare and I still love the brand. It's Boots own range and it is very affordable. If you are looking for something to firm and rejuvenate your skin, you might like the Botanics Triple Age Renewal Super Serum* (£10.49). It contains hyaluronic acid, vitamins A, C & E, plant antioxidants and soy protein. It helps to nourish the skin and prevents wrinkles.

If your skin is dull and lacks radiance, give the Botanics Radiant Youth Super Serum* (£9.99) a go. It is scientifically proven to boost luminosity in just 2 weeks and it is paraben free. It is light, but powerful and contains radiance-boosting active flavonoids, and active plant extracts. Use it under your moisturiser twice a day and you will be  pleasantly surprised with the results. Radiant skin, full of life and luminosity!

Another radiance boosting Botanics products is the Botanics Organic Facial Oil* (£9.99). If you are not using facial oil yet it is a good one to start with. It is light, but it manages to lock in moisture for 8 hours and adds a healthy glow to the skin. It's also ultra nourishing and soothing and I love using it as a massage oil. Use 1-3 drops morning and night or more for a facial massage. My husband is a big fan of it too.

It looks like Boots customers were right, because I am impressed with every single product I received in the 'Loved By You' box. It took me over 2 months to test them all, but I found some real gems!
