April Favourites

I always tend to include a big selection of products in my monthly favourites and this month is no different. There is something for everyone, from budget hair care to makeup and luxury skincare and I can't wait to share my recommendations with you!

I adore this face mist and I mentioned it on my blog many times. I actually repurchased it in the past twice, but this 50ml bottle was kindly sent to me. I love using it after an exfoliating toner, to add moisture, soothe, and soften the skin. It's lovely and I adore its subtle rose scent. The full rose range by Jurlique is gorgeous.

My favourite cleanser this month is this new release from Bee Good. It is suitable for all skin types and feels very rich and creamy. It removes makeup and grime easily and  leaves my skin clean, soft and nourished. It contains honey, crambe oil and antibacterial propolis and it works really well with my normal/combintion/breakout prone skin.

Ok, I realise that this product is extremely expensive, but... it is sooo lovely. From the stunning black packaging, to the super hydrating, velvety formula. It is an absolute dream to apply and leaves my skin silky soft. I will be reviewing it separately along with the Claudia Louch Oil Free Makeup remover soon.

This mask has been my got to quick fix solution for dull skin for the past 2 years. This particular bottle was sent to me, but... I have repurchased this product many times in the past and I always have it my skincare stash. It works in just 30 seconds and helps to revitalise the skin, adds radiance and brightens. Perfect! For best results, I like massaging it into my face and neck for around 2 minutes.

I have been using this blemish treatment on my neck and jawline, where I get a lot of hormonal breakouts and it helped me sooo much! It isn't drying at all, but somehow it manages to calm redness, reduce the size of breakouts and helps them heal quicker. It also prevents scarring and gently exfoliates with salicylic acid and papaya enzymes. I am seriously impressed with the formula, but I wish the pump dispensed less product. You need the tiniest amount of the clear gel each time, but far too much comes out in one pump.

When it comes to shampoo and conditioner, I am a bit of a snob and I usually buy quite expensive brands I am already familiar with. After giving the Palmers Strong Roots Spray(£3.79) a go, I was left really impressed, so I agreed to try the Coconut Oil Formula Shampoo*(£3.99) and Leave In Conditioner*(£4.99). I must admit - they are brilliant and really affordable. The shampoo is perfect for fine hair and helps to get rid of product build up, without irritating my sensitive scalp. It contains Vitamin E, coconut oil and keratin and it is paraben and sulfate free. The leave in conditioner is very light weight, but it nourishes and repairs damaged hair, without weighing it down. It is also a fantastic detangler. The Strong Roots Spray is ideal for sensitive scalps and I am really glad I ordered it. I have to make sure not to spray too much onto my actual hair, but if I massage a little bit into my scalp with my fingers, it provides instant relief, soothes tightness and itching and... promotes hair growth.

I mentioned the Bumble & Bumble Dryspun Finish (£21.50) in my March favourites and I actually repurchased it already. It is soooo good! It adds texture, provides a little bit of hold and combined with the Pret-a-Powder* (£21.50) it makes my hair look about 4 times bigger. This combo is my go to volumising solution at the moment. Read my full review of the Pret-a-Powder here.

Bourjois Hands & Feet Nail Polish Remover* (£6.00)
This little pot changed my life! :) haha I reviewed it here already, but I had to mention it again. Removing nail polish off my toe nails is always a big chore, but with this baby, it is totally hassle free. Read my full review here.

Dr Bronner's Almond Pure Castile Soap (£5.49)
I have been using this product as a shower gel and I am obsessed with the almond scent. It is soo lovely! It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or tight and contains a mixture of organic extra virgin Coconut, Olive, Jojoba and Hemp Oils and pure essential oils. Amazing quality and really affordable too. Believe it or not, it can also be use as toothpaste! I think I will get the Peppermint one for this purpose though :)

Healgel Body* (£39.50)
I love light body moisturisers, but most of them are not hydrating enough. HealGel Body is incredible though and leaves my skin soft and nourished. It is very cooling as well and contains arnica to help calm irritation and regenerate distressed areas. Its citrusy scent is lovely too. I wish it was a bit cheaper, because I am slightly obsessed with it.

I have been meaning to buy this highlighter for a long time and I am happy to finally have it in my life. It adds a subtle glow to my cheekbones, without looking shimmery and the formula is very easy to work with. I love Benefit products soo much! I might review it separately soon :)

Arbonne Intelligence CC Cream* (£30.00)
This 10 in 1 Complexion Control Cream impressed me more than any other CC or BB Cream I have tried so far. It is absolutely incredible. The tiniest amount gives medium, natural looking coverage, evens out skin tone and minimises the appearance of pores. It also adds radiance to my complexion, but mattifies in the right places too, while hydrating and nourishing the skin. It's brilliant! Shade Light is a perfect match for my skin tone and I think I will buy a darker one for summer. I am obsessed with it and I haven't worn a different base since this miracle worker landed on my doorstep.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in Pink Pong* (£8.99)
Oh my, I adore the new Velvet lippies by Bourjois! My most worn shade is Pink Pong, a bright fuschia with blue undertones. It is simply stunning and very long lasting. To read my full review and see swatches click here.

Pur Minerals Lip Gloss*(£16.00) in shade Bossy.
I have also been loving this deliciously scented lipgloss by Pur Minerals. It smells like vanilla cakes and it looks lovely on the lips. It is very opaque and non sticky, with a very subtle shimmer. Full review and swatches here.

Kiko Creamy Eyeshadow Pencil Duo* (£9.90) in shade Brown & Shell.
I have been using this pencil almost every day in April and it became a real staple in my makeup bag. It is super easy to work with and I can create a brown smokey eye with it in 30 seconds. Full review and swatches here.

The best angled brush I have ever used. It is very precise and the quality is incredible. I use it to define my eyebrows, but it also works with liners and eyeshadows. More photos and review of Perversion liners here.

To be honest, I had more products to share with you, but I can't even imagine how long it would take me to prep and write this post, if I included all of them :) haha.
