New Urban Decay Liners & Angled Brush

When it comes to black liners, I swear by the Bourjois Liner Pinceau Liquid Liner and the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil in shade Zero. I repurchased both of them many times and I can't fault them at all. I like to try new options though and the new Urban Decay offerings are just as good as my two favourites. There is a new liquid liner, a cream liner, a 24/7 glide-on pencil, an angled brush and a retractable pencil.

Three of the new liners are in a shade called Perversion and the 24/7 Glide-On Pencil is in a shade Black Velvet. All of these, including the brush are sold separately.

Liquid liners are always my first choice and this baby didn't disappoint. The super fine tip gives me full control and I can create a thin or thick line, depending on the look I want to achieve. The colour of this liner is jet black with a glossy finish and it lasts on the eye lids all day, without smudging or feathering. I would definitely recommend it, if you struggle with creating a perfect winged line. It is a pain to remove though and it only comes off with an oil based cleanser.

I love the packaging of this product and I can imagine the pot lasting for a really long time. I used to hate cream/gel liners, but I really like using them at the moment and I find them easy to apply. The formula of this liner is waterproof and as you can see on the photo above, the pigmentation is amazing! It is described as 'the deepest, most intense black color imaginable'. Cream liners are very versatile and can be used  to create a precise line, smudged along the top and bottom lash line or used as a cream base for a smokey eye. Once completely dry, the Super Saturated Cream Liner doesn't budge and looks perfect all day.

A good angled brush is a must have in any makeup bag and it will help you create a perfect winged line. The Perversion Brush is very precise and gives me more control than my other angled brushes. It works perfectly with cream liners and brow products. It can also be used wet with eye shadows to turn them into liners. It is cruelty-free, vegan and ecofriendly.

Say hi to my new favourite black pencil. It is super soft, a dream to apply and it stays put all day long! It is also easy to blend and you can create a gorgeous smokey eye with it. As the name suggests, it simply glides onto the skin, providing amazing pigmentation and a matte finish. Absolute perfection!

The last liner from the bunch is the twist-up 'All Nighter' and I absolutely love using it in the waterline. It's creamy formula applies beautifully and stays put (on the skin) until I remove it with an oil based cleanser. When it comes to the waterline, it lasts for about 6-8 hours. There is no sharpening involved, which means that I can carry it in my makeup bag and touch up on the go. The finish of the pencil is quite glossy and the formula is enriched with vitamin E.

All of the new black liners are fantastic and the angled brush is perfect too. You just can't go wrong with Urban Decay! You can buy these from Debenhams, Lookfantastic and other Urban Decay stockists.
