Pancake Day! :)

Pancake Day is probably one of my favorite days of the year :) haha. Any excuse to make yummy pancakes. I usually go for my healthy two ingredient banana pancakes (click for my recipe) and add some fruit and yogurt to them, but when I received a selection of Tefal pans* I had to give proper crepes a go.

I received three different pans: Ingenio Induction 28 cm Pan*(£38.00), Superior 24 cm Frying Pan (£26.00) and the Jamie Oliver by Tefal Anniversary Pan (£25.00).  I am a terrible 'pancake filpper' so I decided to use the last one to make my yummy crepes. It is quite deep and it's shape is perfect for flipping. I couldn't believe that I didn't make a mess :) haha. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly tomorrow.

I was super lazy (and  in a rush) and used a pancake mix today, but tomorrow I will be attempting coconut crepes with bananas and nutella. I can't even remember when was the last time I actually indulged in nutella. I am obsessed with healthy eating, so it is not my usual choice.

My favourite toppings for pancakes are:
-fresh fruit with yogurt
-bananas and golden syrup
-Agave Nectar - a healthier alternative to syrups.
-bananas and nutella
-coconut and dark chocolate

I made my crepes in the Jamie Oliver by Tefal Anniversary Pan (see below). It's amazing! To be honest, I buy all my pans from Tefal and I think that all their pans are worth every penny and last for ages! I've had one of their big pan set for over 6 years and it is still perfect (similar here). I also looooove their griddle pan and the fabulous 1egg pan - you NEED it in your life! It makes perfect fried eggs and it is now on sale for only £5.32. I could probably write a full post about my pan collection :) haha. I will stop here.

To celebrate Pancake Day, Tefal launched a Pancake Seflies App, where you can upload a selfie and turn it into a pancake masterpiece :) I tried it today and as you can see - my face is now on a pancake :) haha.

I can't wait to indulge in a big stack of pancakes tomorrow morning. I only had two today, but I could easily eat about 10 with yummy toppings and loads of fresh cream.

Do you have all Pancake Day supplies ready for tomorrow?

If you are stuck for ideas, you can find inspiration on Tefal's Pancake Day Pinterest Board.

*I was kindly sent 3 Tefal Pans for the purpose of this blog post.

  6. These look yummy! I had M&S salted caramel sauce and dark chocolate chips on mine - amazing! I was even lazier than you with your mix, I bought pancakes from Greggs :-/ I do plan on making some from scratch at the weekend though, I just don't have the time on a weekday with working and blogging.
I have the Tefal Griddle and absolutely love it. x
