M&S 'Holly Sharpe For Limited Collection'

When the beautiful 'Holly Sharpe for Limited Collection' products landed on my desk, I couldn't take my eyes of them! I was kindly sent a selection of pretty, colourful lipsticks, nail polishes, eye shadows and other beauties and believe it or not... they are all from Marks & Spencer, very affordable and currently on a 3for2 offer! The SS14 capsule collection includes makeup, fragrance and accessories with a stunning 'Exotic Girl ' design by Holly Sharpe. She is a talented British illustrator and as you can see, her work is captivating.

The compacts are probably my favourite pieces from the full collection. So pretty! It is also worth mentioning, that the actual products are hypoallergenic, fragrance and paraben free and suitable for vegetarians.

LIMITED COLLECTION Holly Sharpe Blusher* £8.50

Swatching this blush was heart breaking,  but... I avoided the gold embossing and it still looks perfect :) It is a dark peachy pink shade with a hint of gold shimmer (on the top layer). The golden shimmer might wear off after a few uses though. I am not sure, because I don't want to ruin the embossing. It is nicely pigmented and there is no fallout during the application. It would make a lovely gift.

LIMITED COLLECTION Holly Sharpe Quad Eyeshadow* £8.50

The eye quartet combines a vibrant selection of colours, from a light beige and lilac to a pastel and dark green. The first three have a satin finish and the darkest one is matte. I will let you judge how wearable this palette is, but I love experimenting with eye shadows, so all the shades really appeal to me. The formula is nicely pigmented, has minimal fallout and applies beautifully on top of a primer.

I really like matte lipsticks and these tick all the boxes for me: they don't feel drying, are quite creamy and apply smoothly. They are super pigmented and you can get them in two spring/summer appropriate colours - fuchsia (vibrant pink) and tomato (a bright orange shade).

The nail polishes are double ended and one side matches the colours of matte lippies from the range, while the other side features a funky top coat. You can see the way it looks like on the nails on the photos above.

Available in two colours, the kajal khol can be used as a liner or eye shadow. I got the dark blue shade and it has a metallic finish. It looks lovely smudged along the lower lash line paired with a dark blue smokey eye. It is also perfect as a base for dark eye shadows, to help intensify the colour. The consistency is nice and creamy and glides onto the lids effortlessly.

There are also two lovely bags available in the collection: a wash bag and a makeup bag. I got the smaller one and I love how colourful it is. It is well made and a perfect size to house my daily essentials.

The full 'Holly Sharpe for Limited Collection' is available exclusively from M&S stores nationwide and online at www.marksandspencer.com. Prices start from £5.00 and the full range is currently on a 3 for 2 offer :)
