2013 Skincare Favourites

Yay! I am finally sharing my 2013 favourites, starting with skincare. I had the list ready in December, but I only got a chance to photograph everything last weekend :) There will be two other instalments: makeup + tools and body care + hair care.

FAVOURITE CLEANSER: This title goes to the amazing Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm. The fact that I repurchased it confirms how much I like it. Well... I actually LOVE it! From all cleansing balms I have tried, this one is the most luxurious, nourishing formula and it doesn't sting my eyes when I remove my eye makeup with it. Pricey, but worth every penny.

FAVOURITE TONER/S: Clarins Gentle Exfoliator followed by Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic. This combo leaves my skin super soft and fresh and preps my skin for other products perfectly.  You can read more about it here. I repurchased both of them this year.

FAVOURITE SERUM: I am obsessed with the Yonka Hydra No1 range and I am considering repurchasing the Hydra No1 Serum*, once it's all finished. It is light, but super hydrating and combats the worst dehydration. Read more here.

FAVOURITE: FACE CREAM: Mine and my husbands favourite is the Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream. It smells insanely gorgeous and I always go back to it. It is my third/fourth pot and I can highly recommend it for dehydrated skin. I have combination skin, but it really works for me and helps to deal with dehydration caused by the weather and central heating.

FAVOURITE FACE OIL/S: My two favourite face oils are the Balance Me Radiance Face Oil* and Antipodes Joyous Serum*. I can tell  by the amount I have used up this year :) Each bottle has half of the product left and my other face oils are still nearly full. The Antipodes one is the most silky formula, perfect if you want to wake up with baby soft skin the next day and the Balance Me oil helps to restore skins balance, heals and prevents breakouts.

FAVOURITE FACE MASK: The one and only Aromatherapy Associates Deep Cleanse Face Mask. It is incredible for breakout prone skin and I already repurchased it and received it as a gift as well, so I am all stocked up for 2014 :) I use it once a week to give my skin a deep cleanse, but also on breakouts as an overnight treatment. I can't live without it!

FAVOURITE EYE CREAM: HealGel Eye* really impressed me in 2013. It is the most effective eye cream I've tried so far and leaves my under eye area looking soooo much better! Light, hydrating, firming and soothing. Perfect!

FAVOURITE SPOT TREATMENT: Nothing beats the Origins Super Spot Remover! I am ordering my third bottle as we speak, because I used up my second one when MAC foundation and concealer gave me nasty breakouts a couple of weeks ago. This stuff works wonders and dries out the worst spots overnight or within 2 days. Amazing!

FAVOURITE TOOL: I only got the Magnitone brush in November, but it is incredible. It helps to decongest my skin and when I stop using it for a while, I can see that my skin looks a bit dull. I use it a couple of times a week now and it keeps my skin looking clear and healthy. Full review coming soon! I promise :)

Have you tried any of the products I picked as my 2013 skincare favourites? It was a really easy task for me to be honest and I simply went for the products I either repurchased or used A LOT and loved :)
