Sunday Manicure: Impress Press-On Nails

Impress Press-On Manicure

I found these in my Latest In Beauty Stocking* on Friday and I couldn't wait to give them a go. I have been meaning to buy a pack of Impress Nails since they launched, but they used to be quite expensive, so I quickly forgot about them :) The design I got is a bit crazy, but... I really like it.

The nails were super easy to apply, but I struggled to find the right sizes. They are made for big finger nails, so I wouldn't recommend them, if you have tiny fingers. Once on, they felt comfortable and I expected them to last for a couple of days. Unfortunately, as soon as I started doing my usual things - looking after my son, writing blog posts, taking pictures, hoovering, light cleaning, laundry etc... the nails peeled off quickly. I use a dishwasher to do the dishes, so there was no prolonged contact with water. I was really disappointed. I love the fuss free application, the design and the idea of Impress Nails, but they simply didn't work for me.

Have you tried press-on nails?

*I received these in a Latest In Beauty Box/Stocking

  1. I love Empress' press on nails they are always so high quality and I never have trouble applying them! Plus this design is gorgeous! (: great post!

  2. This is a shame as I have being looking at these a lot recently and was so close to buying them. However, I noticed you post a picture of the box on Instagram and waited to see what you thought of them. I think I would struggle too as my nail beds are quite small.

  3. I've used these a few times and they aren't too bad, mine normally last about a week but I had to replace a few as one or two pinged off. Not bad if you want something for a night out though x

  4. That design is lovely! I love the contrast between black and neon pink.

  5. I've used impress nails two times and I loved it +.+ I think they are so easy to apply!

  6. I have small nails so I'm really disappointed that they don't make a set for little nail beds. I would love to use the pattern though for nail art! It's really fun.
