Post-Christmas pamper :)

Hi everyone :) I hope you had the most wonderful Christmas and enjoyed every single minute of it. I actually took some time off  blogging and social media for the first time in two years and it felt really good. My little boy absolutely loved all his presents and the look on his gorgeous face was priceless. I can honestly say, that my favourite part of Christmas is giving presents to everyone and seeing their reaction. After all the celebrations and eating far too many chocolates, all I needed was a long, relaxing bath with some festive bath and body treats.

First of all, I lit my Nuxe SPA candle from the little gift set I blogged about a couple of weeks ago. It smells insanely gorgeous and I will definitely order it again. It fills the full room with a beautiful scent and makes me feel very relaxed. It is quite a strong fragrance though, so not for very sensitive noses :)

For the bath, I used my personalised REN Morrocan Rose Otto Bath Oil* (£30.00). I received it right before Christmas and it was a very thoughtful surprise. The rose scent is very subtle and the oil left my skin feeling soft and supple. The best thing about it - it doesn't leave an oily residue in the bath! I also used the Organic Surge Spiced Lily Foaming Bath* to add some bubbles, with a gorgeous scent of patchouli and clove-bud essential oils. You can get it in the Organic Surge sale for only £3.00 at the moment. I will be stocking up asap.

I always put a deep cleansing face mask on, when I am taking a bath and this time I used the Avojo Black Peel Off Mask* (£3.00). It looks a bit scary, but I was very impressed with it. I applied a thick layer onto my problem areas (mostly T-zone) and left it for 30 minutes. Once it was completely dry, I peeled it off and I could actually see some of the dirt and grime stuck to the mask. I know... it sounds disgusting, but it really works. My skin was left super smooth and it looked clearer than ever. I wouldn't recommend this mask for dry and sensitive skin, but normal and combination skin types should be fine with this type of mask.

To moisturise my face and body, I used the award winning Steamcream* (£12.95). Its natural, light-weight formula is perfect for dehydrated skin, providing long lasting hydration. My tin is a gorgeous Noir design, but there is many different options too choose from. It would make a lovely gift for any occasion.  Available from www.steamcream.co.uk
