November Favourites

It is finally time to share my November/December favourites with you :) I have been trying out some new products, but I also rediscovered a couple of makeup gems in my  collection.

Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Cleanser* 50ml (travel size) £14.00
I have been loving this gentle cream cleanser from Pai! It is formulated for sensitive skin and can be used to remove eye makeup too.  I massage a small amount allover my face, remove my eye makeup with cotton wool pads and buff away the rest of the cleanser with a wet muslin cloth. On 'no makeup' days, one pump is enough to remove all the dirt and grime, but if I had foundation and mascara on, I always have to double cleanse. The formula of this cleanser is packed with Omaga 3 and vitamins, leaving my skin soft and hydrated after each use. If your skin is suffering at the moment and not handling the cold weather too well, I would definitely recommend this cleanser. It is very soothing and free from nasty ingredients.

Another Pai product I discovered in November is their lovely Echium & Argan Eye Cream. When I wear a lot of eye makeup, the delicate skin around my eyes can get a bit dry and irritated, especially if I am am creating a couple of makeup looks for the blog on the same day.  This hydrating eye cream helps to revitalise, soothe and smooth the eye area and... it also has anti-inflammatory properties. The formula is rich and hydrating, but it sinks into the skin quickly, without leaving a residue.

Healgel Face* £48.00
My go to facial moisturiser at the moment is the HealGel Face and I used up most of it already. It isn't cheap, but it is incredible! The anti-ageing formula works wonders on my skin, leaving it firm, plump and radiant. Healgel Face is enriched with 'Arnica and Madecassoside, suspended in liposomes with powerful peptides and biodynes to initiate a uniquely soothing and collagen boosting process'. I couldn't explain it better :) It is also packed with omega oils and hyaluronic acid. I totally get the hype around this product. It really makes a difference and gives my skin a fresher, younger appearance.

This cream is perfect for very dry and irritated skin. Its rich emollient formula soothes the skin instantly and protects from environmental stress. I have been using it a lot recently, because my skin doesn't really like cold weather. I don't use it allover my face, only on dry and irritated areas and it works wonders! A must have for winter.

My skin broke out badly, when I tried Mac Studio Fix Fluid and Pro-Longwear Concealer and I have been using this spot treatment to deal with all the pesky breakouts. It helped to reduce the size of spots and minimised redness and irritation, without drying out the skin. Perfect!

You might know that standard deodorants and roll-on antiperspirants are linked to breast cancer, so it is not the best idea to use them. I switched to more natural options a while ago and my first choices were the Weleda Citrus Deodorant (100ml, £8.50) and Salt Of Earth Natural Deodorant (£5.37 here). The weird looking piece of salt is in fact a deodorant and it works by leaving a thin layer of natural antibacterial mineral salt on the skin, providing up to 24h of protection. You simply run it under water and apply onto your skin. It couldn't be easier. I also like  using the Weleda spray, because it smells gorgeous and fresh. The most important question - do they work? Yes, they do - not for 24 hours, but I haven't experienced any problems throughout the day.

To add volume to my flat and thin hair, I have been using mattifying powders. My all time favourite is the OSIS Dust It Mattifying Powder (£9.84), but I recently discovered the  Structure Dust Matte Hair Powder* (£10.50) and it is equally good and you get more product for your money. I use a small amount of the powders on the roots of my hair and the volume they create is  incredible! I can't even imagine styling my hair without a dusting powder.

My favourite November palette has to be this one, especially the cheek products in it. Laguna is a lovely, natural looking bronzer and Deep Throat has been my go to cheek colour for the past couple of weeks. I am glad I managed to get this beaut from asos for £32.00. It is sold out now, but you can still get it from Space NK for £45.00. Read my full review here.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick (£23.50) shade 9 Nude In Private
This beautiful nude shade from YSL quickly became my favourite lip product. I love everything about it - the packaging, the formula and the colour. The Shine range feels very moisturising, making the lippies perfect for winter. I might treat myself to a berry shade this week.

Wet N Wild Palettes (Comfort Zone and Walking on Eggshells)
While organising my makeup collection, I decided to give my Wet N Wild palettes some love and I still can't believe how amazing they are. I have been reaching for them a lot in November. I wish the brand was available to buy in UK, because the quality of the eye shadows is comparable to Urban Decay and the palettes are 10 times cheaper! The neutral shades are stunning!

To add a nice glow to my face, I have been using Nourish Golden Glow Illuminating Face Shimmer* (£14.95). It is similar to their shimmering body souffle, but the formula is designed for the face and feels like a light mousse. I either use it as an illuminating primer, or mix it with foundations. It works really well both ways and adds radiance to my complexion, without any visible shimmer. I also like using it as a highlighter.

Barry M Matte Nail Paint in shade Crush (£3.99)
The matte nail paints by Barry M are incredible and my favourite from the bunch is this dark burgundy colour. It is perfect for A/W, but my favourite part is the formula- it dries super fast and the matte finish is a nice change from glitters and glossy manicures :)
