Luxury Christmas Gift Guide

Christmas is the perfect excuse to treat yourself and your loved ones to items normally considered quite pricey. I always feel super generous during the festive period and ...I also know that I can ask my husband for some more expensive treats :) My last gift guide features some fab ideas ranging from £30 to £150 and I hope you find it helpful.

Babyliss Perfect Curl* (£149.99) has been on my on my radar since it launched and I can't even describe how excited I was when I received it in the post.  I actually added it to my Christmas wishlist, but as you can see, Santa came early. It is the best hair tool I have ever tired and I am able to create a full head of curls with it in just 10 minutes- all absolutely perfect. I will be reviewing it in detail next week, but I can't recommend it enough. If you were thinking about buying it as a Christmas present, don't think twice- every girl will love it! It's a miracle hair tool!

Magnitone Pulsar* RRP £129.99  £64.99 (Boots, Lookfantastic, HQhair)
Another popular gift idea for beauty addicts is a good quality electric face brush. Clarisonic is always very expensive and I have never seen it on offer, but... the Magnitone Pulsar is currently available half price everywhere and I must admit- it is absolutely incredible. I have been using a much cheaper Sigma brush  since last year, but Magnitone is sooo much better. It can be used on your face & body for daily cleansing to give you softer, smoother & clearer looking skin. It would make an amazing gift! Full review coming soon.

I was kindly sent this beautiful Tranquility Pendant* ($140.00) from www.perfumedjewelry.com and I am totally in love with it. The pendant is made with sterling silver and you can choose your favourite fragrance to go inside. I adore Flower By Kenzo and it always brings back lovely memories, so that's exactly what I picked for my gorgeous piece. You get three little fragranced 'crsytals' and you simply put one of them inside the pendant and close it with a clasp. As you can see, it looks beautiful and it would make a very unique, thoughtful gift for someone you love.

A makeup palette will make any beauty addict happy, but this year only two of them really caught my eye. The first one is the beautiful Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette (£56.00), featuring three gorgeous powder shades and a mini Veil Mineral Primer. I have been using mine a lot and if you can still get your mitts on it and surprise someone with it, they will really appreciate it :) The other stunning palette on everyone's wishlist is the Naked 3 by Urban Decay* (£37.00). Let's take a minute to appreciate how lovely it looks. I won't be surprised, if you already have it in your online basket :)

Laura Mercier Creme Brulee Quartet (£60.00) was officially on my Christmas wish list, but I was lucky to win it in the Urban Retreat Beautique Xmas Quest last week and I couldn't be happier! It was such a fun competition- I still can't believe I won this beautiful set. Creme Brulee is a lovely, sweet scent and in the quartet you get a scrub, a bath souffle, a body creme and a candle. It is probably the nicest gift set I have ever received. Perfect for those who like pampering and luxury bath and body products.

Another lovely set from Laura Mercier is the Body Creme Sampler Collection* (£40.00). Slightly cheaper than the Creme Brulee Quartet, but equally indulgent! The set contains four scents of the Laura Mercier Souffle Body Cremes - Almond Coconut Milk, Ambre Vanillé, Fresh Fig and Crème de Pistache. They all smell insanely gorgeous and I am officially addicted. They are strong enough to be used instead of perfume and are very, very luxurious. Ideal for those who like sweet scents and rich body butters.

Love Your Skin Body Smoothing Trio (£40.00) would make a perfect gift for those who are not to keen on rich body butters. It contains a Collagen Bath & Shower Cleansing Gel, Collagen Body Moisturising Gel and Cleanse & Smooth Exfoliating Wash. As a little Christmas treat, you also get a free Brightening & Clarifying Facial Serum worth £30.00. I am really impressed with all LYS products, especially the Moisturising Gel - it sinks into the skin very quickly and leaves it super smooth - it can also be used as a hydrating mask.

I mentioned in one of my previous gift guides, that a Neom travel candle would be an ideal gift, if you can't afford the full size, but... if you are feeling really generous, I would definitely recommend one of Neom's Home Candles (£40.00) or the beautiful Scents Of Christmas Gift Set* (£42.00). They scream luxury and the scents are unique and powerful.

Today (12/12/13), Neom are offering 20% off in their Blogger Flash Sale and I already know what I am buying- their Christmas Wish Candle :) You can access the sale here: www.neomorganics.com/bloggerpromo.html

The AA Revive Candle* (£34.00) would make a fabulous gift for any Aromatherapy Associates fan, especially if they love fresh and zesty scents. It comes in lovely little box to, so you could easily get away with popping a ribbon on top and that's the 'wrapping' done :)

For your partner/dad/brother or a male friend, the Refinery Shaving essentials gift set*(£35.00) ticks all the boxes. It comes in a nice canvas wash bag and includes two full size products - a Shave Foam Gel and a Face Wash. Very useful gift in my opinion.

The last and probably the most popular gift idea would be a bottle of perfume. I receive one every single year and I would be slightly disappointed if this year was different :) Just like I mentioned before, my favourite scent is Flower By Kenzo, but I recently fell in love with Dolce & Gabbana Rose The One*. Mine is from hairtraide.com, who also stock the bigger size and other perfumes at discounted prices. It is a gorgeous feminine scent and the bottle features very 'on trend' rose gold details.

Are any of the gifts mentioned in this post on your Christmas wishlist this year? I must admit - I am still unsure what to ask for. My husband usually gets me whatever I ask for and a couple of surprise gifts, but this year, I just can't make up my mind :) haha. He is one of those people who shop on the 23rd and 24th of December, unlike me who has the presents all wrapped and ready weeks before Christmas :)
