Babyliss Pro Perfect Curl Review

I can't even describe how excited I was when I was offered a chance to review this amazing, revolutionary hair tool. It has been on my wishlist since it launched and I actually expected to receive it as a Christmas present from my husband this year :) As you can see, Christmas came early and I couldn't be happier. As soon as I photographed the tool, I plugged it in and gave it a go.

I didn't take me long to figure out how to use it, because it couldn't be easier. You simply choose your preferred setting, get a small section (3cm) of your hair and place it in the curler, where you want the curl to start. Once the hair is in place, let go of the hair section and close the handle to allow the hair to be automatically taken into the curl chamber. Amazing! It feels quite strange at the beginning, but once you see how it works, you will be able to curl your hair without any real effort and your arms won't be sore from trying to manoeuvre the tool.

Before I got the Pro Perfect Curl, I was using various curling tools, including the Enrapture Totem Styler, a Babyliss Curling Wand and an old Phillips curler. All of them were quite easy to use, but... the Pro Perfect Curl makes curling my hair sooooo much easier and I don't have to worry about burning my hands or face! It is absolutely foolproof and you simply can't go wrong with it.

Pro Perfect Curl features three curl settings - alternate, right and left, but I only use the alternate one because I want the curls to face different direction to create more volume. There are also three heat settings (190°C, 210°C, 230°C) and three timer settings with an audio beep indicator. The curler automatically  pulls the hair into the ceramic curl chamber where it is softly held and heated from all directions, creating a perfect curl and long lasting results.

You can create many different looks with Babyliss Pro Perfect Curl, from tight curls to loose waves, depending on the settings you use. I prefer using the medium heat setting on the Auto/Alternate mode and I always use hair spray immediately after curling the hair to set the curls. You can see the final results on the photos below.

Overall, I am very impressed with the Babyliss Pro Perfect Curl and I can't recommend it enough. It is super easy to use and it only takes me 10-15 to do a full head of perfect curls, without burning my face or getting sore arms :)

Pro Perfect Curl is a trade version of  the tool, but you can also buy the retail version called Babyliss Curl Secret - slightly cheaper, but it has less temperature and timer settings, 2 heaters instead of 3 and a shorter swivel cord. I am sure that you can create equally beautiful and effortless curls with it though :) I can promise you, that once you try it, you will absolutely love it and you won't be able to live without it!

On the first photo, you can see loose waves on the left side and tighter curls on the right side. On the second photo, you can see loose curls, before I brushed through them with my fingers.
