Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette Review

I am pretty sure I mention it every time I review Urban Decay products, but... their eye shadows are the best on the market and I  adore them! I get a lot of use out of every UD palette I own, even the Book Of Shadows Vol II, purchased over 4 years ago. Believe it or not, but all the shades are still creamy and super pigmented!

The new Vice 2 Palette* (£42.00) features 20 new shades, all exclusive to this limited edition palette. You get a lot for your money and if you love Urban Decay- it is a bargain! The palette comes with a huge mirror inside (the biggest one I have seen so far) and a dual ended brush. I really like the purple packaging with a crystal UD logo. To open the palette, you simply push the long button on the front and the lid is released. Clever!

The colours in the palette are absolutely stunning and most of them have an amazing consistency - super creamy and almost buttery. That's exactly why I love UD eye shadows. There is only one slightly disappointing shade in the palette (Lovesick), but even this one was easy to work with. The remaining 19 shades are simply gorgeous! My favourites are: Dope, Toxic, Ambush and Stash. I like them all to be honest and I can see myself using the palette a lot! The variety of colours is perfect, starting from light beige, brown and taupe shades, to very vibrant purples, greens and blues. Amazing! There is something for everyone and all colours are easy to wear and combine.

As usual, the formula is very pigmented, easy to blend and long lasting. Most Urban Decay shadows last on me all day (with or without a primer), except matte shades - they last on me for around 8 hours, before fading. There is no major fallout, even with the glitter packed colours and I am totally in love - again!

Overall, I am very impressed with the Vice 2 palette and I can't recommend it enough. It would be an amazing Christmas present, especially for those who love Urban Decay. If you already own the original Vice, you can see, that the colours are totally different and unique. If you decide to treat yourself, you can blame me for it :) haha

The Limited Edition Vice 2 Palette is available from Debenhams, House Fraser, Lookfantastic and HQ Hair.
