Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick - Nude Delight

I don't own many Rimmel products, but their lip lacquers and waterproof eyeliners are simply amazing, so I decided to finally give the Moisture Renew Lipsticks a go. I went for a nude colour - Nude Delight, because I own too many pinks and reds already :) The formula of these is meant to be highly pigmented, very moisturising and long lasting. The lipsticks contain SPF 20 too, which is always a good thing.

My lips are quite dry at the moment, so it was the perfect time to test the moisturising claims of Rimmel Moisture Renew range. Moisture Renew Lipsticks contain Collagen, Polypeptides and Hyaluronic Acid, to restore and attract moisture in the lips and are supposed to make your lips feel up to 70% more hydrated and up to 60% smoother.

Are the claims true? They might be slightly exaggerated, but.. my lips felt much smoother and more hydrated after applying the Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick. Applied onto my lips without a lip balm, the formula felt very soothing and hydrating and didn't accentuate any dry, flaky bits. Nude Delight is a light peachy shade, so I didn't expect it to last on my lips all day, but it stayed put for 2-3 hours, which is good enough for me.

Overall, I am very impressed with the formula and I will be ordering more shades in the future. I also love the packaging of these - it feels and looks quite luxurious for a drugstore lippy.
