Sephora Highlighting Compact Powder in Gold

First of all, I can't believe we don't have Sephora in UK. It's so unfair and... It doesn't make sense. Thankfully, I was able to get my hands on this gorgeous highlighter when my sisters were coming for a visit all the way from Poland. Sephora's own range is reasonably priced and this beaut was around the £10 mark. It is much cheaper in US and I believe that it was available in the sale for just $5!!!

I adore the embossed design on the powder itself and the packaging is nice and sleek. The stars make it look really pretty. You can choose from two shades: pink and gold. I went for the gold option, because it was best suited for my skin tone. It is a lovely golden shade, finely milled and non glittery. It adds a nice golden glow to my cheekbones and warmth to my complexion. It has a bit of fallout, but it doesn't look powdery on the skin. I find it a bit tricky to blend with my fingers, so I would advise you to use it with a soft, fluffy brush. I like using it with the Real Techniques Duo Fiber Blush Brush.  You can apply it to the tops of your cheekbones or use it as a bronzer/blusher. It looks lovely!

The Sephora Highlighter is exactly what I was looking for and looks gorgeous on tanned skin. It is much more golden toned and less brown than The Balm's Betty-Lou Manizer (see comparison swatches below) and I would recommend picking it up if you are in Sephora.

I left it unblended to show you the true colour. It is yellow toned with very fine gold shimmer
