Little Treat: Diptyque BAIES Candle (review)

As soon as I realised that the Baies candle smells like blackcurrant leaves and roses, I had to have it! Buying the full size wasn't an option at the time, so I settled on the smaller, 70g version. It promises to burn for up to 30 hours, so it isn't actually that expensive.

Baies is a perfect scent for those who like fruity and floral combinations and I fell in love with it as soon as I opened the box. It reminds me of Neom's Contentment, which I adore, but the subtle notes of Bulgarian Rose make it even more unique! The scent is quite strong, but not overpowering and it fills my huge living room within 10 minutes. I am planning to buy more products from the Baies range, because I am obsessed with this beautiful scent.

Diptyque candles are handmade with vegetable and paraffin waxes to ensure even burn and each blend features a slightly different formula, designed to compliment every candle scent. To get the most out of the candle, I will be sticking to the basic advice- burning for minimum of 2 hours, trimming the wick etc. I really don't want to waste such a luxurious candle by burning it the wrong way :)

Overall, I am very pleased with my first Diptyque candle and I think that it is worth the £20.00 price tag. I might treat myself to the full size in the future, but I want to try other scents first. Mimosa is next on  my list :)

Have you tried Diptyque candles? What are your favourite scents?

My all time favourite candles: Diptyque Baies and Neom Contentment. Both with notes of blackcurrant.
