Bourjois Color Edition 24h Eyeshadows and new Color Boost Lip Crayon shade

Oh Bourjois, I can't even begin to describe how much I love you! I couldn't wait for the release of Color Edition 24h Eyeshadows and I am also very excited to see more shades added to the Color Boost Lip Crayon range . I am in love with the Autumnal shades of the eyeshadows and the lip colour I was kindly sent couldn't be more A/W appropriate.

These are meant to be similar to Maybelline's Colour Tattoo (minus the oiliness) or Chanel Illusion D'Ombre (slightly less pigmented), which sounds very promising. On top of that, the formula claims to last for 24h. I am not sure about that, but they definitely last on my lids all day without smudging or fading. I don't even use a primer, because they simply stick to the lid and don't budge.

For a sheer layer of colour I apply these with my fingers, but if I want a more intense effect, I use a Sigma F70 brush and it works wonders with the cream to powder formula. The consistency feels almost like a bouncy mousse, but it quickly turns into a powder finish. It should work really well on oily lids, as well as normal and dry ones. Perfect! The pigmentation is just right and as you can see on the photos below, I was able to create quite intense, pigmented eye makeup looks with these.

The finish is very unusual and it is a mix of satin colour with tiny flecks of metallic sparkles. My favourite shade is the khaki one- 04 Kaki Cheri and I love using it on it's own or as a base for gorgeous Urban Decay Mildew. Perfect combo for brown eyes. 02 Or Desir is a beautiful gold shade with a metallic finish, great as a base allover the lid or used on its own for a very subtle  natural look. The darkest shade- 05 Prune Nocturne is a stunning burgundy colour with tiny flecks of gold shimmer - it looks amazing used as a base for shades like MAC Cranberry or UD Last Call.

I have been using the Colour Edition 24h Eyeshadows every single day since they arrived in the post and I am completely obsessed. They launched a couple of days ago and you can buy them from Bourjois stockists, like Boots and Superdrug.

Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon* in 06 Plum Russian (Prune) £7.99

I am addicted to the Color Boost Lip Crayons and they quickly became my go to lip products. There are two new shaded added to the Color Boost range, including 06 Plum Russian and 05 Red Island. Just like I mentioned in my original review, the formula is incredible, very moisturising and a dream to apply. The crayon adds a lot of shine to my lips and a lovely wash of colour. I like to wear a sheer layer of Plum Russian on my lips, but the colour is buildable and you can achieve a more opaque effect. With SPF15, the Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayons are a treat for the lips, leaving them nourished, protected and super glossy.
